DocuSign Gen for Salesforce document rule using field on related object

Hi there,I’m testing out DocGen for Salesforce and have been really impressed by the tool so far. The process is pretty smooth and easy to use, but I’m wondering about the flexibility of “Document Rules” under the “Upload Documents” step. As I understand it, these are designed to give you some conditional logic for dynamically deciding what documents are generated based on field data in the primary object. However, I’m wondering if there is any way to build rules that reference field data from related (parent or child) objects. In my case, the object I’m using is a junction for multiple related objects, so it doesn’t have all the field data immediately available. This was fine when building the document itself, but it doesn’t seem like I can reference any of those related objects for the purposes of a document rule.For example, my primary object (Contract) is related to the Product object, which contains data about the “type” of document I want to generate. Updating Contact Database

I must be stupid because I cannot find anywhere how to correct an email address of a contact.  For example, I sent an envelope to an incorrect email address.  I was notified that the email address was no good.  I went i and corrected the envelope with the correct address, however, the incorrect address is the only one that shows up in my contacts database.

Recipients names change on envelope

I have a template set up with 3 different signers, the client and both of the clients parents. The first signer is the client, signers two and three are the parents. When I type in signer two, the first parent, it fills/changes the name for signer three and if i enter the email address it changes that too. the reverse is true as well, if I put info in signer three, it changes signer two. I exited DocuSign  and went back in to the template, same problem. it is only the one template.  Yes, I could recrate the whole template, but I’d rather figure out the problem in case it happens again!

I don't have access to my files in an downgrade account

Hi, I’m the admin of an enterprise DocuSign account, now I’m dealing with the following issue. The previous admin convinced the enterprise owners to change DocuSign to another provider. The DocuSign account was downgraded to free, but, now years and years worth of signed documents are nowhere to be found… What should I do? I’ve already searched all the accounts and the last admin said there was a time limit to download the files… Please Help!

Signers not able to see "Notes" in Nitro PDF document

Hi, I have sent a Nitro PDF document that has Note’s in it that show up off to the righthand side of the page (see second image below), these are for the Signer to review and then potentially approve. However, when it gets to the Signer, they cannot see the Note’s only the small yellow boxes (see first image below) on the page of the document that indicates a Note is there.Is there a way of being able to show the Note’s for the Signer? I have tried to get them to download the document, but this still only show the small yellow boxes.Any help on this is greatly appreciated! Many thanksLouise

Adding $ symbol

Hello. I created a new document custom field. The field type is Text Field. Validation type is Number. The value being entered is a currency. How do I add a $ symbol to precede the number value? Thank you,Nancy

DocGen Adding additional spaces while using Bulk send

I am sending forms out to clients that contain name and addresses.  I created the document in the dosusign word assist.  all of the merge fields look to be single spaced.  i pulled in the recipients using a csv file via bulk send.  The finished document that the client sees has a bunch of extra spaces like below… Name Adress 1 Adress 2(Removed information due to P ersonal Information)

Not getting new link

Hi,I am struggling to access a document I signed a few months ago. When I click on the “Review Documents” button in the email I received from the sender, I am asked to click “Send new link” or “log in”. When I click “Send new link” I don’t get any new emails. I’ve checked the other folders and there is nothing there, and I’ve tried this many times for a few days but I receive nothing. What can I do, and who can I contact about this?Any advice would be deeply appreciated!

Document Generation types of fields

Hello!I'm currently automating our contracts using DocuGen, but I'm encountering some issues. The main problem is that when I attempt to populate a text field, for example, {{test_field}}, it doesn't allow line breaks. How can I handle this situation?Thank you!

My Gen Templates were working fine, but suddenly stopped. It seems like DocuSing doesn’t accept my word tables anymore.Does anyone know how to solve it?Thank you.

Add a word count or limit characters to a text box.

Is it possible to add a word count or add a limit to a text box in the doc gen form in CLM?  We are adding a text box field which is also used to capture the metadata from the text box attribute.  However, the attribute is limited to a 400-word count.  Thank you,

Can you place tags using Doc Gen?

While using document generation, you can create the word document with the "{{studentemail}} " but that requires the sender to type the email out. If the student is in the routing path, can you place the tag within the word document so Doc Gen will pick it up inside the paragraph?

Doc Gen - Conditional Logic on Word Template in salesforce - Conditional Test to display content from a field.
