2 part question. I’m Looking for some advice on formulas. I understand the concept of displaying a 1or 0 as a true/false result, Im curious if there is a way to display the result of a formula in a separate text box. For example, If I were looking to have the formula [Box 1] *.3 display the result in a new text box, is that possible?  Also, the closing parentheses in the If statement seems to be “breaking” the formula. I’d love some advice on how to properly format those. for Example, if([Box1] + [Box2] = 100, 1, 0)  ← the final parentheses seems to break the formula.  Thanks!

When sending the data payload and docx template to Docusign, if the template contains any hyperlinks it throws error in the creation of document. Is there a way to have dynamic hyperlinks sent in the payload to be clickable on the document created by DocGen?

Hello! I’m doing some testing on a demo developer account. I’m creating test templates using the word template assistant and I keep getting a syntax error message when I try to upload the template. From everything I have looked up on the documentation this syntax should be correct. Why can’t I get this template to upload? Is this a limitation of demo?The template is attached below. 

Hi community, I've recently used the template for a Data Sharing Agreement we want to send out.We have the Agreement Template Builder option enabled in our Admin settings but it seems that it’s only working in smaller documents.When I uploaded a two page template, it let me use the Template Builder, but with our 15 page DSA, it doesn't. Has anyone faced this?

I have a completed envelope made up of 8 files.I cannot download to save the 7th of the 8 files.  (Other 7 files are no problem.)Error on web brower is: “This site can’t be reached...(long web address)...might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR.File 7 is large, 23,521KB, and was just under the DocuSign upload limit.Cannot forward this envelope to others, for others to attempt.Cannot print this file as PDF as the combined file is too large.  “{"errorCode":"COMBINED_DOCUMENT_SIZE_OVER_LIMIT","message":"An error occurred while downloading the document. Try downloading the documents in a .zip file Total size of all documents being downloaded exceeds the allowed limit: 100MB. Please try to single download each documents"Tried clearing cache.  Did not help.

Hi, We are new to Gen and we use DocuSign Apps Launcher v6.9 within Salesforce. After we generate the documents, how do we send them? I was under the impression that it would be seamless, we generate then we would be prompted to send. But after the documents generate we are prompted to Preview/Download and click done and get directed back to our record. I think I am missing a piece. Can someone provide any insight? Thanks!

I created a document from a template, filled it out, shared it, only to find that it was shared half-filled out.I tried to correct it, but when hitting “next” after add recipients, it loads a blank screen under “Add Field Data.”When I click “review”, it just says, “something went wrong. Please try again.”I tried clicking on support and it asks me to log in. When I do, it just says, “unable to log in.” Contact support. Ironic.I can log into my account just fine and open documents. I tried clearing cache and cookies. I am using Chrome with no site-interfering extensions.

Some documents are not OCR’d when signatures are completed.  Odobe will not ODC documents post-signatures. If there a setting we can use to ensure documents are OCR enabled before signatures and, is there a process to OCR post-signatures? Our documents are stored in SharePoint and being able to search the document text/content is important for our organization.  Thanks,Mary 

Hi everyone,In my DocGen word based template, I use some conditionnal display for some appendices of my document.I recently add some sections into my document to have few pages in landscape display. But now when the match is true, everything is display correctly and when the match is false, instead of my content remaining hidden, a blank page takes its place.To be more precise, between my matching condition and my endcondtionnal, I used “Next page” elements to separate my landscape page from my portrait pages. I tried with the “continuous” element but it didn’t work well after generation. Because it’s the only real difference with my previous version without “blank pages”, it seems that it came from the “next pages” elements, as if the next page element was out of my condtionnal display, but I don’t find any other solution for the landscaped pages. Do you have any idea how to fix this ?  thanks in advance Stan

I sent out 18 emails today, typed in individually. DocuSign made me choose which fields each person needed to fill out by their name. And then sent all the emails.But now the form is filled out with everyone’s response, and not just for each individual.HELP!Shelly

HI  I have created a dynamic Template that contains adopter and foster information for a shepherd rescue. The adopter signs the adoption contract, and our rescue also completes with signature.Our Treasurer uses the final contract information to document for tax purposes the adopter information and rescue fee and puts this info in Quick Books. The new template style makes it hard for her to copy and paste the info. is there a way to write the dynamic data fields that were created into a CSV file or google sheet without having to use a tool like Zapier ? or do I need Zapier to do create and document the list of adopters, rescue fee, adopter info etc

Hello. I created a standard formula field, added a formula. I then saved the field as a custom field. I then added an autoplace text anchor to the custom field. This worked perfectly. However, when I go back to generate the document again the formula is gone. Not sure how to resolve this. Please let me know if you need more information.    

Hi there,  Is there a way to protect an image in a DocuSign template from being clickable / copied? It is possible with individual PDFs by using security settings, but I do not know how to do this with DocuSign template. For example, if we send out bulk letters that include a “signature” (an image) of an executive, we would like to ensure that image cannot be easily copied. We understand that anyone can take a screenshot and crop, but we would like to at least take the step of making it unclickable. Thanks in advance if anyone has figured out how to do this with DocuSign templates for bulk delivery.  

Good morning, as of this morning any time I try to add multiple documents from template to an envelope I receive a generic error message with no additional information that would allow me to troubleshoot the issue. I need to add multiple addenda to lease agreements based on the specifics of the property in question and have had no issue doing this for the last 2+ years for hundreds of leases. I believe this is a new error. I don’t see anywhere to check for known issues to see if this has been reported. Is anyone aware of this issue or have a solution?

Hello, I have a huge contract to send with a lot of documents. Is it possible to have an editable list of the documents included in the enveloppe and if yes, what is the process to get it ? Many thanks for your help.Best Regards from FranceSophie

I must be stupid because I cannot find anywhere how to correct an email address of a contact.  For example, I sent an envelope to an incorrect email address.  I was notified that the email address was no good.  I went i and corrected the envelope with the correct address, however, the incorrect address is the only one that shows up in my contacts database. 

I have a template set up with 3 different signers, the client and both of the clients parents. The first signer is the client, signers two and three are the parents. When I type in signer two, the first parent, it fills/changes the name for signer three and if i enter the email address it changes that too. the reverse is true as well, if I put info in signer three, it changes signer two. I exited DocuSign  and went back in to the template, same problem. it is only the one template.  Yes, I could recrate the whole template, but I’d rather figure out the problem in case it happens again!

Hi, I’m the admin of an enterprise DocuSign account, now I’m dealing with the following issue. The previous admin convinced the enterprise owners to change DocuSign to another provider. The DocuSign account was downgraded to free, but, now years and years worth of signed documents are nowhere to be found… What should I do? I’ve already searched all the accounts and the last admin said there was a time limit to download the files… Please Help!
