creating an optional selection for one initial section and not the other.

On our lease, there is a section where customers pick/put their initials whether they’re going to self-insure or get a policy on their contents. I only want them to initial one of the two choices. How do I do that? Thank you

How do you deal with someone who is leaving and has documents in progress of being signed?

One of our users (also an administrator) is leaving our firm shortly. I currently have shared access to her folders so I can see everything she’s sent out and completed items etc.  But what happens when she leaves?  I don’t want to lose all the documents she’s sent out that haven’t yet been completed (and I don’t want to loose the completed one’s either - although I know I can pdf those and save them elsewhere). Do we need to keep her account open?  If we close it, will we lose everything?  This must be regular occurance, so wondering how to deal with it. Many thanks

Signature Copied?

I received a new (revised) contract from a vendor stating that it had been renewed (without our knowledge) and signed. When I compare the original, which we do remember signing, and the new one, which we do not remember signing I noticed that the signature looks to have been copied. The original and new contracts have different “DocuSign Envelope IDs” as would be expected, but when I compare the signatures they are absolutely identical, with the same frame number and everything. Would this be evidence of tampering with the document and possibly pasting a signature from the original contract onto the new one? Is there another logical explanation that could possibly explain this?

DocuSign Retrieve TSL Certificate

Hello, has anyone run into this before: Getting the "Login failed" error indicated in the attached image after running the docusignRetrieveApp.exe and attempt to log in. Our IT is stating that the TSL Certificate for DocuSign is only valid for ns1.docusign.net and www.docusign.net, however DocuSign’s tools use docusign.net as an API host. Any ideas would be helpful. Is this an expired password issue or a back-end security certificate issue.

Documents signed but not in the right Docusign account?

 I am having challenges signing and reviewing a document. To compound things my wife uses the same email as me.  I am trying to review a signed document that I signed. Two of four documents went through okay to the proper source.  The other two did not. Somehow, the documents were archived in my community college email address.  The community college .edu email will not allow me to export the two documents because the documents have my social security number. Could you help me? To compound things my spouse uses the same msn.com email I use!. The two documents I need have been archived in my Germanna account: ***email removed redacted post*** I need the two documents for my Veterans Administration rating. Thank  you,

Is it possible to add a company stamp in a document

Hi,Sorry if the question has been asked before. Looked for an answer but couldn’t find it.I usually share with my manager the documents to sign, by adding the fields that he must complete in the form. I am able to add a lot of different fields (name, signature, date, initials, company name, etc.). However, I cannot seem to find a place to request for the company stamps or adding the company’s stamp, which is sometimes required when sending having to sign a document electronically.

E-Signature Error on French Gov Site

Hello, I am receiving this error on a French Gov site, which I need to electronically sign a document.error I am getting:------------------------Your signature is not valid: The summary was signed with a foreign certificate outside the EU and whose certification authority is not present among those defined in the eIDAS trust lists. Your signature is therefore not considered valid since we cannot find the certification authority of the certificate used among the eIDAS trusted lists. Signature for INPI - France

I need to sign an official document for the INPI here in France but I don’t get the certificated signature option when doing the whole envelope settings. How do I find it? and after that, since there’s a lot of questions around this: does the signature actually work still nowadays? A lot of people are complaining about the INPI rejecting Docusign’s signature certificate. Thank you!

Read Only sections in generated documents during Review Process

I have created a workflow where one of the steps is Send for Review where reviewer downloads the document and can make whatever changes they need. Instead of changing the whole document is there any way that only certain sections can be modifiable and remaining can be read-only.

I’m creating an envelop, bulk send to around 50 recipient.And I’m trying to arrange the singing order as below:Recipient first > Sender(myself) But seems like all the envelop must sign by myself first before send it out to the recipient.How can I put myself to the last one of the process?

Want to run a report on PowerForm usage within an account

I want to run a report on PowerForm usage. It would ideally list every PowerForm in the account, the last time it was used, the sender of the PowerForm, and the template used  in the PowerForm. Is this possible either by standard reporting or by API, if so, how?

Salesforce - Sign 2 contracts - 1st contract is included in second

Hello, I have an integration processus with Docusign to sign document which works like a charm.It is based on model.When everyone has signed the envelop, the different document are downloaded into the salesforce object as Attachment.Sometimes I need to sign some other contracts but by default it is included the 1st contract already signed.Any idea where I can change this behavior ?Thanks a lotJerome

Push document updates/redlines back into Salesforce

Is the following possible with DocuSign CLM? A document is generated with merged values from a record in Salesforce. The document is then reviewed internally and sent externally for review and redlines. When the parties agree that the document is finalized, we’d like to update the original Salesforce record with the new values that are in the document’s merged fields. Is this possible? If so, I would very much appreciate a summary of how one would go about it. Thanks in advance!

Adopted a signature but cannot change it afterwards

Hi,I received an email link to a DocuSign document, and in the signature section I created a new signature and adopted it but noticed afterwards that I accidently made a mistake in the signature and now am unable to fix it or create a new signature. I did not have a DocuSign account when I signed and adopted the signature at the time. How can this be fixed?Thank you

Is there a way to close en envelope due to NO action in a week but with the option of a recipient rejecting a document within that timeframe?

There are some recipients that don´t wish to interact with the envelope if they dont need to. This means that they will only reject on same cases but dont want to approve all the time. The closing of the envelope is important for other processes so I want to know if DocuSign can do that.

Document on Hold

I created a document that required multiple signatures. There is a set order of signatures and move to each person upon conclusion of the previous person signing. For some reason, the document is listed on hold and stuck between two people. It is not showing that it is sent to the next person in line but the previous person has signed it. Is there a way to bypass the hold to get it to the next person? I have tried to correct the document but this has not worked. There is no resend button as well to try and reissue. Any help would be appreciated

Hello all,I have to sign a document someone sent me with DocuSign. When I click on the link sent to my phone in order to start the identification process I have "this page cannot be found". template assistant sender fields not working?

Hi,I’d love to use the Template Assistant for word so that I can have text in my word document replaced as opposed to having to position, pick fonts, etc.I create sender fields in my Word doc as {{FirstName}} and the preview works correctly.When I click Upload to Docusign, the template is uploaded and the editor opens, but none of my fields are recognized.I’ve searched for resources, but am getting confused by Document Gen, whether it requires Salesforce, etc.What am I missing?TIA

Security Concern: authentication methods are not prompting on completed envelopes

Hello,In our account, we have the following settings enabled: Recipient Authentication Triggers: The first time a recipient accesses an envelope per device.  Recipient Authentication Skip Option: Recipients cannot skip authentication when accessing subsequent envelopes from the same sender.When utilizing in-person signing, the user is prompted to enter the access code to initially access the envelope to sign (on the hosted device). However, once all parties have signed the document, a completed email is sent to the signer where they can view the completed document. If the user clicks that link on a different device, they are not prompted to enter the access code and can view the contents of the document.This is a major security concern if the wrong email was entered or the email was compromised - documents may contain NPPI. Why isn't the access code being prompted on subsequent access of viewing the completed envelope, even if switching the authentication trigger to: Every time a recip
