We have few hundred forms signed and submitted by our customers. We need to upload these forms to individual customer’s files. Is there an easier way to download all these forms then upload them to the 3rd party Data Entry Center to upload one customer at a time. Thanks

Hi all, I have a library of MS-Word documents outside CLM, with each document containing a description of a product.For example:Product_A.docxProduct_B.docxProduct_C.docxand so on. I have a Salesforce quote which may be selling one or more of the above products. For example, my Salesforce quote has products A and C on it.Today, I have a Doc Gen config which generates a contract document based on the Salesforce quote using a CLM template. I would like to generate a combined document in CLM which would contain the contract document as well as the product descriptions  documents appended to the contract document. In the case of my example: contract document and Product_A.docx and Product_C.docx in one combined document. Is this possible in CLM? What would be the best way to achieve this? Thanks for your guidance!  

When reviewing contracts under CLM, we use Chinese to communicate and include comments in Chinese for each action. However, once the record becomes an executed record, all the Chinese characters are lost in the summary report. This is a significant issue for us. It would be ideal if CLM supported Chinese characters, given that approximately 20% of the global population uses Chinese. I am eagerly anticipating positive news from CLM in the near future.

Our CLM.CM workflows make updates to documents that automatically create a new version of the document. When we get to the point in the process where the user wants to compare versions, they are met with in some instances Version 5 as the “Starting Position”.I understand this is a quirk of our use case that the workflow is making updates that create new versions but is there any way to filter out versions created by the workflow, so that the user is presented with a document that reflects it’s true position.Alternatively, can anyone suggest an acceptable workaround, way of working that gets around this? 

Could you provide an example of how to prepare an ‘ETL configuration XML file’ for use in the ‘Excel ETL’ step of a workflow?In my use case, I need to extract a list of case numbers from an Excel sheet and iterate through each case number to copy and move their corresponding documents.

I have requested two contracts and have access to both of them. However, I see only one them under the widget ‘My Watchlist’ on my dashboard. What could be the reason? 

Hi All - One of our departments regularly has to send two documents out to the same signer but we want to track them separately through the workflow.  Is there a way to send the first one for signature and then add the second document onto that envelope within the workflow so both are tracked? I know that we could download one and attach it and then upload it as a signed copy to complete the workflow out but I am hoping for a better process than that.  I had thought of just combining them into a single document but one of them is Word and the other is .pdf with a lot of customization and ‘insert object’ to try to add the .pdf into the Word doc loses some of the pages.  Any ideas?

I recently started using the DocuSign CLM tool and created a document generation form, linking it to a workflow through Configurations. While setting up the workflow, I successfully connected the configuration, and the fields created in the form were populated as XML variables. However, when I added new fields to the form, they were not automatically reflected in the workflow. Is there a way to ensure that new fields added to the form are automatically updated in the workflow?

I’d like to preform an audit on the merge tags used for each Form Library form. Is there a way to extract all the merge tags from each form without having to copy & paste each one individually into excel?I’d like to capture the form field name AND the merge tag that it relates to. NOTE: I have tried to highlight them, then pasting into excel. However, when you paste with source formatting- the box appears and it’s not easy to extract. If you paste “values only” the merge tag information disappears.   

We had an implementation partner set up our workflow and they set the folder creation to create in a general ‘Parties’ folder.  I now want to have the workflow save the contracts to the specific department.  I have created the department folders within the system, have created a .csv with the department (along with their approver and legal’s email in other columns) and have pointed the doc generation form to that .csv where the user can pick the department.  The global config file has /Parties/ in the path to create the folder.  I have tried several variations in that field for {Department}, (/{Department}, /{Department}/) but it keeps erroring at the folder creation step with this error: Action failed with exception, returned: No folder found for path: 2|<%#MFC_x_GlobalConfigs.FolderPath%>. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

Hello Community, I am trying to upload multiple folders with differe documents inside the folders on Docu Sign CLM. any one ever tried this? I have followed instructions on the support center using WINSCP as my Client and using port 22, Host name as my url sftp://sftpuatna11.springcm.com and then username as my email that i use to log into my Company’s Docu sign account which is my company email and the same password but i keep  getting access denied for some reason. Please i need answers and help ASAP. Thank you all for your contributions.

Hi all,When generating the document in docusign, I have encountered an issue regarding the spacing on the sentence entered by the user in Salesforce. Tested both Long Text Area and Rich Text Area as data type in Salesforce to accept free form verbiage. Using Long Text Area:The carriage return was leave out. See image below.Using Rich Text Area:There is big gap between sentences. See image below. Note:The Rich Text is enabled in docusign intake form. Any help/suggestion is greatly appreciated. Thanks,Chris 

I would like to create if-then logic for multiple rows of a table based on a value in the table itself. Example:  Name Type Date Richard A 4/7/2025 Chase B 4/7/2024 Melissa A 4/4/2025  The merge tag would essentially state that, "if the Type=A, then state, [Name] enrolled in services on [Date]", but "if the Type=B, then state, [Name] cancelled services on [Date]". Is there a way to create one merge tag that evaluates all the rows in the table based on the "Type" column, then creates different outputs based on the "Type?" What type of "field type" should I use in the Form for the Configuration, too? I have

Hi guysI have started working with CLM implementation and I have built a workflow that can generate several contracts that follow a standard flow. This workflow have task that can be assigned to different task groups depend on who started it and details from the form.Because of it I have to find a way to reference different task groups in the same steps. Can I put them in a variable?? If the answer is yes, how do I do it? Please forgive my poor english.Thanks!

I would like to use the CLM Combine Documents step.  However, I would like to allow the user to choose the order of which the documents show up in the final combined document.  All of the documents that need to be used in the combined step are uploaded to a project ID folder, but in no particular order.  What recommendations are out there to allow the user to easily create this type of order when using the combine document step?  (I was thinking about using the Choose Documents step but it doesn’t appear to allow ordering) 

Regarding the Docusign AI extension for CLM, is it not offered in certain regions or customer groups?Our company started using CLM in October 2024, but the “Bulk Documents & Data” button does not appear on my Admin screen.My account is 'CLM.DS', so it seems to meet the criteria for use. Why is this feature not activated?Thanks in advance

One of my workflows was supposed to be under Admin queue. However, it got aborted without any user clicking on Abort option in the workflow. How can I resume the aborted workflow?

I have a workflow configuration that has two approval sub-workflows happening in parallel.  If one rejects, how do I either cancel the parallel review before moving to next task ORwait for the other review to complete before moving to next task? 

Do we have a mechanism in Docusign where once the configuration is moved to production, do we have a backup of configuration for Production environment and lower environments? Is this basically driven by the packages we create? Can we have a system restore from a particular timestamp by the Docusign support team?Scenario - In another CLM experience, once we went live, we did daily backups of Production env. and weekly backups of lower Dev or UAT system. This was done by the Cloud Ops team to enable a restore during the Hypercare period for any issues. Do we have something similar in Docusign? 

Hi, we have a requirement that a document signature should be assigned to a group where either member of the group can sign the document. The closest I could think was to have kind of a Task group but that is not possible to store in a variable. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Currently Having issue in creating additional folder in the Existing folder Structure. When documents generated are saving in the existing folder structure. Since all Documents of particular Account are ending up in same folder, to differentiate opportunity agreement and non-opportunity agreements we want to route opportunity agreements to separate opportunity folder and save there. when the document is getting generated from opportunity in salesforce, generated documents should go inside opportunities folder (new folder Structure) and save there. Existing Folder Structure:Contract Repository/Customer Contracts/Account folder/Account sub folder/DocumentExample: Contract Repository/Customer Contracts/XYZ (sample)/XYZ test opportunity/order form SOWNew Folder Structure Required:Contract Repository/Customer Contracts/Account Folder/Opportunities/Account Sub folder/DocumentExample: Contract Repository/Customer
