Apologies--I’m a newbie to DocuSign! I was introduced to the platform as Salesforce Admin when DocuSign was added to my responsibilities after a colleague departed the organization. Of course! My company already has a workflow that kicks off during document generation and tasks are generated. And the Tasks have various Statuses, including "Awaiting Billing Start Date."

I received a business requirement to trigger an email to the User that completed Document Generation when the following criteria is met:

  1. Task Status equals "Awaiting Billing Start Date" AND
  2. Days Since Status set to "Awaiting Billing Start Date" equals 30 (Days Since Status is not a current field or variable) AND
  3. Trigger an email to SumbittedBy.Email every 30 days that the Task Status is still "Awaiting Billing Start Date"

Hello @don.etchison.marathon.health

Welcome to the DocuSign Community!

Yes, this can definitely be achieved using a workflow in CLM, with a combination of conditions and scheduled triggers.

That said, could you please clarify one point:
Is the status "Awaiting Billing Start Date" something that is manually set by the user when completing a task, or is it automatically updated as part of another action (like submitting, approving, or sending for a specific workflow step)?

Understanding how and when this status gets set will help determine the best way to track when it started and trigger the email reminder accurately every 30 days.

Thanks!

Then that’s something you can configure in workflow and use the “Schedule Document Reminder” step after user complete the task.

Thanks!
