Hello,

Given the recent UI update to CLM, I am now (as the account admin) unable to send a public share link (as outlined in this admin guide).

I understand that I am still able to send folders, but sometimes I need to link colleagues to specific files. 

Does anyone have a solution for this? Do I need to change something in the admin settings?

Welcome to the DocuSign Community!

You can still generate a public share link in the new CLM UI by following these steps:

  1. Simply select the file you want to share.

  2. On the left-hand side menu bar, click on "Send".

  3. Within that menu, you should see the "Share Link" option, which will allow you to create a public link.

If you're not seeing this option or if the UI looks different on your end, could you please share a screenshot of your current interface? That will help us guide you more accurately.

Hello, thank you for your reply. Our user interface looked like your screenshot before the recent UI update was pushed out to us. Unfortunately the option to Send is no longer available within the document preview following the update. I have attached two screenshots which show the current document preview.

The snapshot I previously shared was taken from the "Documents" section in the CLM repository. You can access this by navigating to the folder where your document is saved. From there, you can also share the direct link to the document if needed.

If you'd prefer to revert to the previous user interface for ease of use, I did be happy to guide you through the steps to retrieve.

Hello, thank you for the info. I would love to change our account back to the previous user interface, but it is my understanding that the interface update will be permanently rolled out to all users after a certain date. Is this no longer the case?

Yes, you can switch back to the previous user interface. To do this, please navigate to CLM Admin and go to Documents and Folders. There, you'll find an option called "Document & Folder Settings". Within that section, you should see the relevant settings to change the interface.
