Submitting a feature request to be able to manage users marketing preferences on DocuSign’s Admin page instead of users having to manage this themselves.
For multi-value selection (e.g. Parties, Agreement Types) we are missing the following:Select All / Deselect All Negation - list all Parties but X, Y and Z
Enable an auto-adjust feature for fields in a standard envelope (not template) so they adjust automatically based on the surrounding document content. Applies to all fields including signature and initial fields. Customers moving from Adobe Sign to Docusign have stated that this feature in Adobe Sign helps reduce the set up time for applying recipient fields.
Idea / ProblemIn Docusign Workspaces, Upload Requests must currently be recreated each time they are sent. For recurring processes, this leads to unnecessary manual work and increases the risk of inconsistencies or errors.Proposed EnhancementAllow users to save Upload Requests as reusable templates. These templates should be selectable when creating a new Upload Request, similar to how envelope or document templates work.Key Capabilities Save Upload Requests as templates Reuse templates across Workspaces Predefine: Required documents Instructions/messages Due dates and reminders Recipient roles or placeholders Optional: control template visibility (personal vs shared) Business Value Improves efficiency for repeatable processes Ensures consistency and compliance Reduces setup time and user error Aligns Workspaces with other DocuSign templating concepts Use Cases Legal intake and contract collection HR onboarding document requests Vendor or customer document collection Standardized compliance workflows
Idea / ProblemWithin Docusign Workspaces, it is currently not possible to generate a contract draft from a document template and then send that document as an envelope. Users must prepare documents outside the Workspace or manually upload them, which breaks the workflow and adds unnecessary steps.Proposed EnhancementEnable users to generate documents from templates directly within a Workspace, allowing them to: Create a contract draft from a template Collaborate and finalize the document within the Workspace Send the finalized document as an envelope for eSignature from the same Workspace Key Capabilities Select and generate document templates within a Workspace Support placeholders / variable data Version control and collaboration One-click action to create and send an envelope Preserve Workspace context (metadata, parties, dossier) Business Value True end-to-end workflows inside Workspaces Reduced manual steps and context switching Improved consistency and compliance Stronger alignment between Workspaces, eSignature, and IAM Use Cases Legal contract drafting and execution Sales agreements from a single deal workspace Procurement and vendor onboarding CLM-style workflows without external tools
hello, I am looking for an enhancement to existing reporting. I am looking to create a custom sent envelope report for a specific template and also looking to pull in a specific data label field value for each of these envelopes, like member account number for example, which we capture via text box. Currently there is no way to capture this information in the envelope report. Thank you, Blanka Weber
If you use DocuSign (sign of documents) with sso login and you are already logged in. With enabled Part11 module there are some points to reauthenticate. At moment a user always need to input it’s email address and then to decide if to use classic login or to use company login. The IDP (sso) is always asking the email + password again. That is very time consuming and frustrating for the users, always type in the email twice. DocuSign should recognizes the email address of an already logged-in user and only ask of use classic login or use company login and forward to configured sso IDP without request for email first (only if the user is already logged in). Please consider that enhancement.
Idea / ProblemWithin Docusign Workspaces, it is currently not possible to send or manage DocuSign Web Form links directly from the Workspace. Users must switch to the Web Forms interface, which breaks the Workspace-centric workflow and reduces visibility.Proposed EnhancementEnable users to send Web Form links directly from a Workspace, making the Workspace the central place to manage document collection and execution.Key Capabilities Generate and send Web Form links from within a Workspace Associate Web Form responses and completed envelopes automatically with the Workspace Track Web Form status and submissions in the Workspace Reuse existing Web Forms without duplication Maintain full audit trail and Workspace context Business Value End-to-end processes managed from a single Workspace Reduced context switching Better visibility into form completion and status Stronger alignment between Workspaces, Web Forms, and IAM
When a custody transfer rule moves completed documents to a custodian account, when the original sender is also a recipient on an envelope that requires SMS recipient authentication attempts to download the documents directly from the Docusign UI results in a RECIPIENT_AUTHENTICATION_REQUIRED error. This is because clicking Download does not initiate an authentication prompt so it blocks the access. This creates a confusing user experience as the presence of the Download option implies that Docusign will prompt for SMS verification. The workaround to this is for the user to access the envelope via the email link so that the SMS prompt is triggered. It would be beneficial for the click of the Download button to trigger the SMS authentication prompt if required to allow the user to download the required documents within the UI.
ProblemIn Docusign Workspaces, Workspace Templates allow administrators to define Upload Requests (required documents, instructions, etc.).However, recipients cannot be pre-configured or assigned to these upload requests in the template. As a result: Recipients must be manually added every time a workspace is created Upload requests must be manually reassigned, which is error-prone Standardized, repeatable intake processes are difficult to enforce This limits scalability and automation for enterprise use cases.Proposed EnhancementAllow recipient selection and assignment at the Workspace Template level.Option 1 – Role-based assignment Define roles in the Workspace Template (e.g. Customer, Legal, Finance) Assign each Upload Request to a role At workspace creation time: The creator selects recipients for each role Upload requests are automatically assigned Option 2 - Allow workspace creators to select one or more upload requests and assign them to a single recipient who is already shared in the workspace or from contacts,… . Key capabilities Multi-select upload requests (checkbox or bulk action) Assign selected upload requests to: One existing workspace member A newly added recipient Option to assign: All upload requests to one recipient Only selected upload requests
If I send the envelope to a recipient by e-mail and it is then opened by someone else (for example, the representativefrom the mailbox), this will not be shown in the envelope history or summary. This can then lead to someone else signingthe document instead of the recipient - without anvone noticing. In my opinion thats a lega thing and should be fixed assoon as possible by DocuSign.
To Whom it May Concern:Please create the ability to run a report for expired envelopes under the 5-Click/48-hour rule. As it stands now, I must view the history of each envelope to determine if they have expired. Kind regards,Gina Forrester
