If a contract gets signed in eSignature (stand alone document), is there a way to feed that document back to CLM so it can be part of the overall file structure built in CLM?

Hi Everyone! I am trying to create a simple workflow with maybe 1 or 2 steps to combine two documents together. One is a document an individual will upload and will be different every time. The second is a static document that is stored in clm.  I don't need anything to be sent out for signature, this is just a simple flow that I am trying to get to work.  These two documents are supposed to be combined together under the Combined Documents  So, the testing document is supposed to be under the same tab as combined documents.  Any suggestions?

Monthly KPI Dashboard – summarizing key indicators like total contracts, average cycle time, and overdue SLAs. I’m curious to know: Which tools or dashboards within DocuSign CLM can be used to generate these kinds of insights?

Hi Community, Is there a way to search empty/blank folders in CLM and create a rule to delete them. I wil be learning about WorkFlows next week but woud like to know if any of you have enounterd this issue.

In a previous data ingestion effort by my former team, we integrated account data from another system into Salesforce. As part of this process, we established a mapping between Salesforce Accounts and DocuSign CLM Accounts using a naming convention that combines the account Name and ID. (not same as salesforce account Id but another field)However, we’ve encountered a problem: although the migrated account folders follow the correct naming convention, they are not being linked to the corresponding existing Salesforce Accounts. Hello everyone,I am trying to create a table that has a dropdown populated from a CSV file. The problem is:When I Add a Column, I have the option Add Field, and I choose Dropdown → Link to CSV Document.Then I edit the document and put the mergetags, I noticed that they where with absote path "//” then changed to relative "./”.With I first tried with absolute path there are templateErros because the node returned more than one node, but with the relative, nothing appears, no error message but no content either.What can I do? How do I use a dropdown populated by a CSV file inside a table?Please help

I have add a new Attribute. I also think I updated my workflow correctly but I am still not able to search the new attribute in DocuSign CLM what am I missing. Please help.

Is there a way to retrieve comments added to documents in Docusign CLM through an API or any other available mechanism?Our goal is to analyze comment data to identify trends, such as “There are many comments pointing out issues related to X.” We understand that comments can be viewed in the UI and downloaded as Word documents with comments included, but since we need to process multiple documents, accessing comment data directly via API or similar methods would be much more efficient.If this is possible, could you please share the relevant approach, API endpoints, or implementation examples?If it is not supported, we would appreciate confirmation of that as well.

I have several thousand agreements in my CLM.  There is a new Attribute I am being asked to track across them all that was not entered when we migrated them into the system.  I have the new values for all of the agreements in an excel file.  Is there any way to upload a change to enter values to Attributes across many contracts at the same time?  It is prohibitive to go into each contract and add this Attribute one at a time.  It would take far too long.

I am pulling in a date field from salesforce into my MS Word template and need to suppress a table row if Start_Date in the Products table contains 2025. Or it could be constructed as < 1/1/26. Is this possible? How would this expression look? ​@Oskay Taskin 😁

New to DS CLM 🙂 - We have main folders for each employee that is named with its EEID contained on it.  We would like to be able to pull the EEID and prepend it to every document within the subfolders.  Can this be done with Smart Rules? Any suggestions are welcomed.Current structure:Facility Folder > Employee Folder (Name - EEID) > Multiple subfolders (named by doc type. ex: I’9, Confidential > Documents that need EEID prepended to name

What step would I need to call within the CLM workflow to update a user's permission, specifically to their CLM security?I need to automate this process.

Has anyone used a webform to kick off a CLM workflow?  If so how.

I am pulling a report and many of the columns I am inserting are repeating attributes. If I have more than one repeating attribute in my report, then CLM reporting summarizes these attributes in the same row. When exporting the report in either csv or xlsx format, the attributes remain combined in the same row. Is there a way to have CLM stop combining repeating attributes? Here is the message from the add column page “We'll summarize the repeating attributes data in the report to make it easier to scan. To see the full details in the report, select only one repeating attribute instead of multiple.” Adding a screenshot from the Docusign report. PS: Under Admin>Account Management>Account Settings>Reports the option “Separate repeating attributes in rows for document report export” is already checked. 

Hi, I’m new to DocuSign CLM and need to access account-specific documents (e.g., Account → Contracts → NDAs) within CLM. I want to display these documents in a web UI in a table and am looking for an API that can help achieve this.

We have a requirement to send a document using the "Email Document" step to the same recipient used in the "Review and Send for Signature" step. However, we’re unable to retrieve the recipient details during runtime, as the step doesn’t provide any useful output. Additionally, we can't predefine the recipient to use a common variable across both steps.Is there a way to dynamically access the recipient information—perhaps using XPath or a system variable—so it can be reused in the "Email Document" step?

Hi Team, I have a requirement that i have a word/pdf form need to send to vendors to fill and sign. Right now i can create template and send to recipient. But every time i need to mark, text, date, checkbox fields in the form and sending. Instead, do we have any option by default to create as template without mapping every time

Hi - some of my users use the MS Word online option to make edits to a contract and it is creating a new version with each change.  I read that in 2022 this was changed to make it only save after two minutes of inactivity.  Does anyone know how to add in that option?  Is there a better way to handle the MS Word online option? Thanks in advance.

Hi all,I have a workflow that calls an intake form to upload a document. When a user with CLM User permission tries to upload a document an error occurred (see screenshot below). I also added the user under the Folder Security and assigned the following: “View & Create” or “View & Edit” or “View, Edit & Delete” or “View, Edit, Delete & Set Access” but to no avail. Am I missing some settings?As CLM Admin, I can upload a document without an issue. Thank you in advance. 

After creating a document generation form, I am trying to save but am receiving this error message.  Has anyone seen that error before and, if so, what was driving the issue?Thanks!

I have a process in CLM where a user can choose a previous record (has a lot of project info fields that need to be presented to the user upon selection and ran through workflow) to append a document to.  We’ve designed it to use a doc gen form that has a CSV choice dropdown for users to select from.  The problem is that the CSV has timeout limitations over 5mb, seems to work slightly higher size (eg. it times out when the file too big).  We’ve removed unnecessary columns to help with file size.  Inevitability we’ll have too many records and the “time out” will come back.     Does anyone have any suggestions for a creative solution to solve for this limitation so it’s never a problem? Thanks.

HelloI have a workflow which updates a csv file which has been working forever.  It has just started failing with this message:Action failed with exception, returned: Appending text to document 'Providers.csv' will create too many versions.Does anyone know what this means and how I can fix it please?

I am trying to initiate a CLM Workflow from a Salesforce Flow. I am able to initiate the workflow from Flow, but am unable to figure out how to pass a recordId. I see that the Salesforce Flow Action “Start DocuSign CLM Workflow” which calls DFSLE__CLMWORKFLOWREQUEST expects a Salesforce recordId because it fails when I put a random string of text or a Docusign ID with the message “An Apex error occurred: System.StringException: Invalid id: cxxxxx” and succeeds when I populate the field with a valid SFID.I see that I am initiating a workflow in Docusign CLM as I get a record of the workflow’s execution.But I can not access the recordId in the workflow.I have tried creating variables with all sorts of name to see if they are populated, but none of them work. (recordId, Record_ID, SalesforceID, id, userId, accountId, contactID etc...)Does anyone know how I can access this record id from within SF?ThanksGretchen
