I was recently using the Set Security step and noticed there is an option to Set Security on a document.  Once I used my Document Variable in the step then ran the workflow it errored out saying, “Security cannot be set on individual documents. Please enable document-level security...”  My question is: How do we enable document-level security in the account?  

We have a scenario where our customer has a consultant agreement workflow that triggers a signature for the execution of the contract but then, after the term of the contract expires, there is a subsequent termination signature to close out the arrangement.  These are two different documents.  It looks like it is conducting the signature for both, but it is not renaming the latter document nor moving it to the same folder as the original.  Are there additional steps needed to make sure that happens?Appreciate your insights.

a contract status goes to Aborted automatically after 18 months period it is in workflow. Contract manager should be notified when a contract going to be Aborted

Hi there,I have some documents stored in a folder in CLM. All these documents have an attribute listing the name of the client who signed the document. My CLM already has some folders with the same names, but not all of them. I want to know how I can move all the documents to their corresponding folders (or create a new folder with the client’s name). Thank you!

I need to confirm this configuration is supported: Upload PDF (with AcroForm fields or place DocuSign fields manually) Recipient A (Form Filler) = Needs to Sign, no signature/initial tabs — just text/number/date fields assigned to A. Recipient B (Director 1) = Needs to Sign with signature/date tabs. Recipient C (Director 2) = Needs to Sign with signature/date tabs. Signing order: A = 1, B = 2, C = 2 (so directors receive/sign in any order after A finishes). Auth: Access Code/SMS for A; SMS for B & C. Questions: Will Recipient A be able to complete the ceremony (click Finish) without any signature tab, and will routing then continue to B & C?

I’m trying to create a workflow that is kicked off by a document completed in eSignature.  I have the eSignature Agreement Action working fine, but I’ve been unsuccessful getting the first step in the CLM workflow to work properly.  I’m trying to use the “Find Documents by Folder” step, and then updating the output variable to be “params”, but the workflow continues to fail, even after updating the schema for “params”.  Does anyone know the correct first step that I should be using to capture the completed document from eSignature?  Thank you!

Hi everyone,We’ve noticed something odd in our UAT environment and wanted to check if others are experiencing the same.In our workflow, when we declare a Date variable like: return DateTime.Today;We expect it to return today at 12:00 AM local time (ET).But in UAT, it’s instead returning yesterday at 7:00 PM. Interestingly, when we declare it like:return DateTime.Today.ToString();…it returns the correct value → today at 12:00 AM. So the behavior changes depending on whether the value is returned as a DateTime vs. a string.This only happens in UAT, not in production environment.

Hi everyone,I'm trying to create a workflow in Maestro using a template that includes a Web Form. The process is: through the CLM step "Maestro Workflow", I start a Maestro workflow that sends a Web Form to a partner for them to fill out and attach documents. However, when I click "Create workflow version", I get an error saying that it's not possible because the template contains attachment fields.Why is that a problem? Create Workflow VersionError 

Hi everyone,I’m trying to sum the values from a table column using XPath in a DocuSign CLM document.I already know that this works: <# <Content Select="(sum(//Valor_Por_Data))" /> #>  However, the sum result only works if the numbers are in the format: 00000.00 (no thousands separator, and with a dot . instead of a comma , as the decimal separator).The issue is that this is not our standard number format — we normally use a thousands separator and a comma for decimals (e.g., 12.345,67).Is there a way to perform the sum directly with our local number format, or do I need to convert the values before summing them?Thanks in advance!

Hey DocuSign!  The UI for Task Groups is clunky which makes managing Task Groups a daunting task.  We asked three years ago for a report that would simply show all individuals tied to a task group.  Should be something pretty simple. Thank you in advance.

On your portal you indicate that it is not possible to download the task groups. However I would very much like to have a download of the task groups including the users that belong to a task group. Can you please create a standard report in CLM so it is possible to generate this report and download it. We need to have this for audit purposes.This was raised as a support case 15761114. Hello,My team is interested in making edits to the Attributes for a document while it’s out for External Review to help with some reporting requirements, however since the document is “locked” while it is out for External Review, the Attributes are also locked and therefore cannot be edited (not even by an Admin).  Is there a way to unlock just the Attributes while it’s out for External Review?One of my CLM admins believes that it’s possible it may be possible to adjust this lockdown in the workflow configuration, but I can’t seem to find any documentation anywhere on how this might be done (and what sort of difficulty this kind of configuration adjustment would be - if it’s even at all possible).  Does this sound familiar and/or possible?  I’ve been trying to look at the actual workflow steps of an old version of CLM that I still have access to for insight and it doesn’t give insight as to whether each of those External Review steps has any sort of “locking” mechanism

Can someone verify if DocuSign CLM AI-Assisted Review can be used with DocuSign FedRamp? Our IT Team read Docusign seems to be an app we need to add to 365/word, but GCC high (Government Community Cloud High) doesn't support it (see below). However, they also found some docs that indicated Hidden Level can get the XML or app, then modify the connections to support FedRAMP Docusign.  Is this accurate?

Hello - Does anyone know if you have a folder that inherits from a parent, and then you add an update security for a certain group by using the update security task to limit users in that group to “view”, do the other security settings remain the same as the parent?  We were having an issue where we wanted to limit who could see certain subfolders outside of the individuals who have the responsibility on them as dictated by the parent folder so we figured we could use the update security to do this, but were second guessing whether or not we would need to also set up the other permission sets like create and update etc.  which would get very confusing.

Hi everyone.I'd like to know if there's a way to ensure that once a user claims a task from a task group, all upcoming tasks in that specific task group within that specific workflow execution will be automatically assigned to that same user.So I saw that there is an opition in the configurations of a human step called Task Group Assignee and that it is possible to create expressions from it. How would it be an expression where a task is directed for all members from a task group the first time, but redirected to the user that claimed it, in the first time, afterwards (when returning to the same step, like a choice for example)?Thanks

How do I stop the XML from being created, along side of my Word document?  The history said it was from a document package builder but I cannot find where that is located or how I can edit it.  I only want the word document with the signature at this point and this action is cluttering up my folders.  Thanks!

Hi Team,We are in 'Review and Send for Signature Task'.Here we have in total 5 documents to display. The Order in which documents are appearing in tasks view we want same order to be displayed in 'Additional Documents' section in this task.But every time we are seeing documents in 'Additional Documents' section are not coming in correct order.Can you please help as we want them in the order of their priority.

Is there any way for my customer to update the language in a DocuSign CLM default screen?  If you can see the attachment (inside the red box), they were looking to update ‘Choose a Template’ and some of the explanation text to be more specific to their teams and users but I cannot find anything that says we can or can’t update. 

Hi - I have created fields in templates within a doc gen form and the user fills out those fields on the contract. However, I am unable to find where that data is stored within the CLM.  Where can I see the information the user fills in on those fields? It does not show up on the left side like all the standard fields.  Thanks in advance.
