Hi Team, I have a requirement that i have a word/pdf form need to send to vendors to fill and sign. Right now i can create template and send to recipient. But every time i need to mark, text, date, checkbox fields in the form and sending. Instead, do we have any option by default to create as template without mapping every time

Hi - some of my users use the MS Word online option to make edits to a contract and it is creating a new version with each change.  I read that in 2022 this was changed to make it only save after two minutes of inactivity.  Does anyone know how to add in that option?  Is there a better way to handle the MS Word online option? Hi all,I have a workflow that calls an intake form to upload a document. When a user with CLM User permission tries to upload a document an error occurred (see screenshot below). I also added the user under the Folder Security and assigned the following: “View & Create” or “View & Edit” or “View, Edit & Delete” or “View, Edit, Delete & Set Access” but to no avail. Am I missing some settings?As CLM Admin, I can upload a document without an issue. Thank you in advance. 

After creating a document generation form, I am trying to save but am receiving this error message.  Has anyone seen that error before and, if so, what was driving the issue?Thanks!

I have a process in CLM where a user can choose a previous record (has a lot of project info fields that need to be presented to the user upon selection and ran through workflow) to append a document to.  We’ve designed it to use a doc gen form that has a CSV choice dropdown for users to select from.  The problem is that the CSV has timeout limitations over 5mb, seems to work slightly higher size (eg. it times out when the file too big).  We’ve removed unnecessary columns to help with file size.  Inevitability we’ll have too many records and the “time out” will come back.     Does anyone have any suggestions for a creative solution to solve for this limitation so it’s never a problem? HelloI have a workflow which updates a csv file which has been working forever.  It has just started failing with this message:Action failed with exception, returned: Appending text to document 'Providers.csv' will create too many versions.Does anyone know what this means and how I can fix it please?

I am trying to initiate a CLM Workflow from a Salesforce Flow. I am able to initiate the workflow from Flow, but am unable to figure out how to pass a recordId. I see that the Salesforce Flow Action “Start DocuSign CLM Workflow” which calls DFSLE__CLMWORKFLOWREQUEST expects a Salesforce recordId because it fails when I put a random string of text or a Docusign ID with the message “An Apex error occurred: System.StringException: Invalid id: cxxxxx” and succeeds when I populate the field with a valid SFID.I see that I am initiating a workflow in Docusign CLM as I get a record of the workflow’s execution.But I can not access the recordId in the workflow.I have tried creating variables with all sorts of name to see if they are populated, but none of them work. (recordId, Record_ID, SalesforceID, id, userId, accountId, contactID etc...)Does anyone know how I can access this record id from within SF?ThanksGretchen

I was recently using the Set Security step and noticed there is an option to Set Security on a document.  Once I used my Document Variable in the step then ran the workflow it errored out saying, “Security cannot be set on individual documents. Please enable document-level security...”  My question is: How do we enable document-level security in the account?  

We have a scenario where our customer has a consultant agreement workflow that triggers a signature for the execution of the contract but then, after the term of the contract expires, there is a subsequent termination signature to close out the arrangement.  These are two different documents.  It looks like it is conducting the signature for both, but it is not renaming the latter document nor moving it to the same folder as the original.  Are there additional steps needed to make sure that happens?Appreciate your insights.

a contract status goes to Aborted automatically after 18 months period it is in workflow. Contract manager should be notified when a contract going to be Aborted

Hi there,I have some documents stored in a folder in CLM. All these documents have an attribute listing the name of the client who signed the document. My CLM already has some folders with the same names, but not all of them. I want to know how I can move all the documents to their corresponding folders (or create a new folder with the client’s name). Thank you!

Hi! I need to confirm this configuration is supported: Upload PDF (with AcroForm fields or place DocuSign fields manually) Recipient A (Form Filler) = Needs to Sign, no signature/initial tabs — just text/number/date fields assigned to A. Recipient B (Director 1) = Needs to Sign with signature/date tabs. Recipient C (Director 2) = Needs to Sign with signature/date tabs. Signing order: A = 1, B = 2, C = 2 (so directors receive/sign in any order after A finishes). Auth: Access Code/SMS for A; SMS for B & C. Questions: Will Recipient A be able to complete the ceremony (click Finish) without any signature tab, and will routing then continue to B & C?

I’m trying to create a workflow that is kicked off by a document completed in eSignature.  I have the eSignature Agreement Action working fine, but I’ve been unsuccessful getting the first step in the CLM workflow to work properly.  I’m trying to use the “Find Documents by Folder” step, and then updating the output variable to be “params”, but the workflow continues to fail, even after updating the schema for “params”.  Does anyone know the correct first step that I should be using to capture the completed document from eSignature?  Thank you!

Hi everyone,We’ve noticed something odd in our UAT environment and wanted to check if others are experiencing the same.In our workflow, when we declare a Date variable like: return DateTime.Today;We expect it to return today at 12:00 AM local time (ET).But in UAT, it’s instead returning yesterday at 7:00 PM. Interestingly, when we declare it like:return DateTime.Today.ToString();…it returns the correct value → today at 12:00 AM. So the behavior changes depending on whether the value is returned as a DateTime vs. a string.This only happens in UAT, not in production environment.

Hi everyone,I'm trying to create a workflow in Maestro using a template that includes a Web Form. The process is: through the CLM step "Maestro Workflow", I start a Maestro workflow that sends a Web Form to a partner for them to fill out and attach documents. However, when I click "Create workflow version", I get an error saying that it's not possible because the template contains attachment fields.Why is that a problem? Create Workflow VersionError 

Hi everyone,I’m trying to sum the values from a table column using XPath in a DocuSign CLM document.I already know that this works: <# <Content Select="(sum(//Valor_Por_Data))" /> #>  However, the sum result only works if the numbers are in the format: 00000.00 (no thousands separator, and with a dot . instead of a comma , as the decimal separator).The issue is that this is not our standard number format — we normally use a thousands separator and a comma for decimals (e.g., 12.345,67).Is there a way to perform the sum directly with our local number format, or do I need to convert the values before summing them?Thanks in advance!

Hey DocuSign!  The UI for Task Groups is clunky which makes managing Task Groups a daunting task.  We asked three years ago for a report that would simply show all individuals tied to a task group.  Should be something pretty simple. Thank you in advance.

On your portal you indicate that it is not possible to download the task groups. However I would very much like to have a download of the task groups including the users that belong to a task group. Can you please create a standard report in CLM so it is possible to generate this report and download it. We need to have this for audit purposes.This was raised as a support case 15761114. Hello,My team is interested in making edits to the Attributes for a document while it’s out for External Review to help with some reporting requirements, however since the document is “locked” while it is out for External Review, the Attributes are also locked and therefore cannot be edited (not even by an Admin).  Is there a way to unlock just the Attributes while it’s out for External Review?One of my CLM admins believes that it’s possible it may be possible to adjust this lockdown in the workflow configuration, but I can’t seem to find any documentation anywhere on how this might be done (and what sort of difficulty this kind of configuration adjustment would be - if it’s even at all possible).  Does this sound familiar and/or possible?  I’ve been trying to look at the actual workflow steps of an old version of CLM that I still have access to for insight and it doesn’t give insight as to whether each of those External Review steps has any sort of “locking” mechanism

Can someone verify if DocuSign CLM AI-Assisted Review can be used with DocuSign FedRamp? Our IT Team read Docusign seems to be an app we need to add to 365/word, but GCC high (Government Community Cloud High) doesn't support it (see below). However, they also found some docs that indicated Hidden Level can get the XML or app, then modify the connections to support FedRAMP Docusign.  Is this accurate?

Hello - Does anyone know if you have a folder that inherits from a parent, and then you add an update security for a certain group by using the update security task to limit users in that group to “view”, do the other security settings remain the same as the parent?  We were having an issue where we wanted to limit who could see certain subfolders outside of the individuals who have the responsibility on them as dictated by the parent folder so we figured we could use the update security to do this, but were second guessing whether or not we would need to also set up the other permission sets like create and update etc.  which would get very confusing.
