Wiping UAT

Hi all, We have an UAT environment that has not been used in a long time and I would like to wipe it in order to install a JSON of the current Prod environment. I have installed JSON in the past and activated the options to override any existing item in UAT, however, some folders, Form, etc. remain in there. This may cause confusion to the admins and the users. Is it possible to completely erase everything in UAT? Many thanks in advance!

How use variable to set multiple document metadata attributes for review in a review step

Hey everyone, I’m trying to understand how to use a variable to assign multiple document metadata attributes for review in a CLM review step. Here’s my scenario: I have ~30 different documents that share some attributes but not others. For instance, Doc A has Effective Date and Cost that need to be reviewed and Doc B has Effective Date and Contract Duration that need to be reviewed. The thing is, all the documents follow roughly the same review and approval process. As such, I’m trying to create a utility subflow for review/approval that can be leveraged by every document. However, this requires that I can pass the subflow the attributes for review in variable form so they can be dynamically set. Otherwise I will need a huge decision point within the subflow to dictate which document metadata needs to be reviewed, which basically eliminates the value of the subflow. I’ve searched around including trying to follow the guidance here that “when using a variable, separate with #.# .Example

Permission control when add comments and tasks.

Hi all, I have a question about adding comments and tasks to notify users during workflow processes. Is it only possible to tag users who has been assigned access rights? In my case, I seem to be able to tag all users, as they are all CLM admin in our UAT environment 😅

Bulk Download Documents in CLM

Hello. I am trying to tidy up our CLM tenant and would like to bulk download hundreds of older documents to store outside CLM in an archive. How do I bulk download? I don’t want to have to manually select and download 20 at a time. Is there a way to do this please?

Can CLM documents be sent for redlines, then routed to someone else for signature?

Hi! Asking since signer typically does not review, but moreso redliner works internally, then routes to their signer. We want to avoid having the redliner return or have the signer ignore especially as DocuSign spam concerns. Thank you, Dave Z

Multiple Party Files with Party Management Enabled

Hi! Is there a way to have multiple party files with party management enabled? Asking since we have multiple business units each with their own customers, so don’t want to open system up to errors by selecting another business unit’s customer or death scrolling by listing all business units’ customers for everyone. Delegated approvers are helpful when the original approver can’t respond to approvals, such as during a vacation. Does DocuSign CLM allow a user to automatically receive another user’s approval requests over a predefined time period?

Changing columns in the Salesforce CLM Files Lightning Component

We are using the CLM Files Lightning Component to display the documents in Docusign associated with the Salesforce record on screen. It currently displays the Filename, Description, and Last Modified date, but I’d like to be able to show different columns (or at least know what other columns I could potentially show). Do we have any control over what columns are displayed from within the CLM Files Lightning Component? If so, how can I change those columns?

Starting a CLM.CM to CLM.DS migration but users on CLM.CM being prompted to install DocuSign Edit

We’re in the process of migrating from CLM.CM to CLM.DS, which is integrated with our Salesforce Environment for Document Storage. We’ve converted our Test Environment but not yet production. We are now getting production users being prompted to upgrade to DocuSign Edit from SpringCM Edit. Can anyone advise on how to stop this?

A member of a task group cannot see the contract to be reviewed

Hello, We have added to our existing task group a new employee. She receives the emails specifying that a task group review has been requested, but when she tries to click on the task or on the document (whether in the email or directly on CLM), she has a page displaying that 0 document is to be reviewed. On the other hand, all 3 other members of the task group can see the task and the document, and the task has been neither attributed to one person or completed. We also tried to attribute a task to her and she has the same issue. I checked also the security of the folders and it should be ok as I added her to the group “Legal” we are part of, and the Legal group has access to everything. She has only a CLM user status and not admin (while the other 3 members have an admin status), but I do not believe this should be an issue? Any help to solve this would be really appreciated!!

Rename documents using attributes

Hello I am having some trouble with renaming my documents. I’ve uploaded some PDFs and associated their respective attributes to them using Smart Rules - Bulk Attribute Association and now I want to rename the same documents using their attributes. DocuSign support mentioned the xpath is incorrect, but I’m not able to find anything that can shed some light on this. I’ve also tried to apply the Example Use Case: XPath expression creates folder and moves document without success. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Autoplace Text not showing on CLM

Hello all,Trying to add autoplace fields in my document templates on CLM. The form fields are populating on my merge templates but it is still requiring me to manually drag and drop my signature and date signed box onto the document. I have checked my eSignature settings and reviewed the Document Custom Fields, and the CLM template also matches my autoplace text. Autoplace text: /s{r}/ Text in CLM document: /s1/The document field is also shared. Could it be a workflow step? Or is there another setting I would need to enable Thanks in advance

Maestro Store Files in CLM Issue

Good Day - Has anyone successfully built the Maestro Workflow for ‘Store Files in CLM’? I can’t get passed the 2nd step ‘Choose which documents to store’ where I need to select a variable for Document ID. I tried to create a new variable but the system won’t recognize it - I tried to create a text variable, number variable, and object variable - none work. Please see attached screenshot. I also searched for documentation on this but couldn’t locate any in the support documentation. I’d appreciate any guidance on this. Thank you

Refresh Salesforce Data Model in CLM Form Builder

I am building a Form to facilitate populating a docgen template with values from Salesforce. When linking the form field to a Salesforce field, I am not seeing all of the related objects that I would expect to see. How do I refresh the metadata such that my new object appears for selection? I am expecting to see the Corrective_Action__c object, which has a master-detail relationship with the Audit__c object (the form and configuration’s base object):

Salesforce Checkbox Field Not Passing Data into Param's XML for DocuSign CLM Document Generation

Hi everyone, I'm having trouble getting data from a Salesforce checkbox field to show up in the Param's XML during document generation in DocuSign CLM. The document generation process is tied to the Opportunity, and the checkbox field is located within the Opportunity Line Item. To link to this checkbox field, I set up a table in the Document Generation form. While I'm able to see and select the field in the form, the actual data isn't coming through into the XML. I need this checkbox field to implement conditional logic for showing/hiding certain terms and conditions in the document. Has anyone encountered a similar issue, or does anyone have advice on how to query the checkbox field to make sure the data is included in the XML? Thanks in advance for your help!

External Review show previous versions

When sending a document for external review to someone who does not have a CLM license, they can not see previous/redlined versions. Is there a way we can accomplish this without giving them a CLM license?

Workflow activity status into Report

Can we add workflow activity status like "Waiting for Chris Rice to send for External Review" into the Report. As of now this is default status generated at Review and Send for External Review step.

Change the signature tag order in a document when a sign is not required.

Greetings, my situation runs as follows: I have a CLM workflow, in which I'm using the "Send for Signature" step. I have 2 possible paths on this part of the workflow that are chosen by the user; one is sending 4 signatures, and the other is sending only 3 signatures, excluding one. The document remains the same because the order must be in this way. In the document, I have my tags, as it shows here: /signer2/ is the optional one. Now the thing is that I don't know how I can control this in DOCUSIGN. When the envelope for signing is sent, it always takes the /signer2/ tag as the second sign, even if it doesn't exist in CLM, and leaves /signer4/ untouched. So the order in this scenario should be /signer1/ → /signer3/ → /signer4/. So my question is, if there exists a way of handling this? On my CLM workflow, I tried changing the recipients order, but the tags keep going 1-2-3-4, I can't skip the 2 when it's not needed.
