 I have a document  that needs to be signed to either  confirm acceptance of terms or  signed to confirm their refusal of terms. I have added the sign  action arrow to both the acceptance and the decline option. If both options are tagged with the Sign action will DocuSign allow for the person to only sign one option? I am concerned that DocuSign will want both spaces to be signed and will give an error message if one isn't. Please advise what you think is best. Hi I am new to using Docusign and have created a template which contains a date field but when I preview it appears in the American format and not the UK format of DD/MM/YYYY. I have changed the Regional settings to UK and the time zone but it is still appearing as MM/DD/YYYY. Is there somewhere I can change this permanently please.

We’re getting an “unable to create the envelope” error on some of our templates for the first time today. Some of these have been used for years. When I looked for similar issues here, some people said the templates were too big when they had this issue. They are fairly large (16-18 docs), but I’ve never heard of there being a size limit for templates. Is there a size limit?If not, what’s going on with this new error? We really need to be able to use these templates.

Hello!  For some Senders, the signed and downloaded PDF document is unlocked.  The blue Signature Panel ribbon indicating whether all signatures are valid is missing. These users are able to manipulate the document, reorganize the pages and save, not “Save as” the changes using Adobe Acrobat Pro.  This should not happen.  Any ideas?  Is there some DocuSign setting that is turned off for them or should be turned on for all Senders?

In 2017 my real estate broker had a prospective tenant sign a lease using DocuSign.  Once signed the lease was sent to me for my DocuSign signature.  After I signed the lease (now fully executed) I downloaded the lease from DocuSign. I now need to refer to this lease and when I open it in Adobe Acrobat, Acrobat reports “At lease one signature has problems.”  Here is all the information presented to me on Acrobat’s Signature Panel:  This is a very confusing message.  It does not appear to identify which signature it’s not happy with.  What does this mean?  What happens if a party rejects the document because they think there’s an issue with a signature (as Adobe Acrobat will inform them of this)?

We use Purview and have word docs protected by information protection that encrypts the docs at time of sending/creation.When a user uploads doc for e-signature it fails.What is best process to enable the user to sign these docs?

Is there a way to add a custom email message to recipients with “Receives a copy”? Idealy, when the recipient receives the email “Completed” there will be a custom email message and not only “All parties have completed this document”.If that is not possible, what options are there to get a custom message to the recipient once the document has been completed? I tried, “Private Message” but when testing it, I wasn’t able to see these message as “Receives a copy”. Wether in the email nor in the document itself.many thanks, Lea

Hi, A question from a complete newbie, both in DocuSign, both as signed electronically documents. Once I signed a document, is the signed document “stay signed on its own”? What I mean is … do I need to keep paying DocuSign to have a copy of the signed document? Or, if I keep a copy of that signed document in a folder in my computer or my email as attachment, the document is still signed? Related to this, I will need to sign 5 documents a year. I can imagine that whenever I need to sign a document, I will have to pay DocuSign for that month, right? I dont need to pay the months before or after. Thanks, Juan 

Hi, I've had a Free account for over a year (not the 30-day free trial, just the free account).I have no need to send envelopes, but only to sign.Since yesterday I get this message when I try to sign any document: The envelope allowance for the account has been exceededSo far I’ve never experienced any problem/limitation. I do not send envelopes, but I am the only signer of the documents I upload, sign and download.I don't understand what the envelope limit refers to and what the actual limit is.As far as I understood from this article (https://support.docusign.com/s/articles/FAQ-Docusign-Envelope-Allowance?language=en_US), the envelopes I sign myself should not be counted.Thank you in advance for your support

I am using the "List Envelopes" action in Power Automate to retrieve envelopes from DocuSign by applying specific filters. I have set the "top" filter to 50, expecting to receive up to 50 envelopes. However, the action only returns 13 envelopes, and the hasMoreRecords property is set to false, even though there are over 400 envelopes in my DocuSign account.

Hi,This might be trivial but never the less. When we send documents for signing its quite common that the authorised signatory want a legal to paginate/verify the content first, how is that done in the best way? Order is not an issue, its the action, view or need to sign.

Why does the 21 CFR Part 11 eSignature stamp show a different date/time than the time/date of signature on the certification of completion?  It looks like the stamp is defaulting to when the signature was accepted originally instead of when the document is signed.   

I have sent out many employee handbooks to be read and electronically signed. When I received many of them, there were other signatures from other employees that overlapped on the same document. There is supposed to be only one signature per employee, per document. How did this happen and how do I download a separate document, each with its own individual employee signature and not multiple signatures on one document?

I have an envelope that has been completed. On reviewing the document it appears that one of the recipients ‘signed on paper’, however, I cannot see their signature in the execution panel, nor does it appear on the Docusign Certificate of Completion.Has this happened to anyone else?Has the document actually been signed in full?

Spent a good amount of time looking for an answer to this but can’t find one.I have Admin access.Have a csv with data that populates all of the data no problem for contracts to be signed. Attached.I wanted to add the EmployeeID and have that pre-populate for the Employee. The same as their name and email does.I’ve created a Document Custom Field called EmployeeID and can add this to the document but it doesn’t populate the data.Tried all the different Field Types in the Document Field but none seem to work. Where possible, I’ve marked them mandatory or read only.We’d also like to populate the address and other data as well if we can get this working.

I am looking to input a text field for customers. I want them to be able to put in numbers with decimals, between a certain target value and 100. In this case, lets say 3. The issue i am running into, is that docusign is recognizing only the 1st digit in the sequence, and so while answers like 35, 62 and 90 are accepted, answers like 12 and 29 are not. I would like docusign to recognize double digit numbers, while still adhering to the lower end threshold.Here is the formula i currently have, any advice would be greatly appreciated. ^(?:[3-9]?\d(\.\d{1,2})?|100(\.00)?)$ 

I invalidated an envelope, because this person keeps receiving reminders from docusign, which is not needful anymore. This person still receives reminders from docusign. Why isn't this canceled? And how can I make sure docusign stops with sending these reminders? See the printscreen below, which says that the envelop is invalidated at 19 januar 2024. 

Hello theres, I have received an agreement via email, but i accidentally adopted a incorrect signature and could not change it. Every time I refresh and try to sign the agreement, it will stick with the incorrect one. Are there any way I can do to revise it on my end or I have to ask the sender to re-send a new agreement? Much appreciated!

I Downgraded my docusign account from a paid account to a free account over 6 months ago - but am still being billed monthly. Every month it tells me “downgrading to a free account after...” the last date of the month is listed - but then it automatically re-subscribes for another month.I tried to contact support, but cannot open a ticket. The chatbot is unhelpful.What can i do?

My manager and I send numerous legal documents externally for completion and signature return via DocuSign on a quarterly basis. We first draft, compose and complete the Word version templates, then upload the templates to DocuSign for usage. We tag the document custom fields properties (e.g., data source) and use bulk send (e.g., csv open file format in Excel).  After we approve the final documents and package for transmittal via DocuSign, we would like to have the ability to download and save the “incomplete and unsigned” documents (prior to sending to individuals for their completion and signatures) in our internal PC system. We are both unable to solve and complete this simple task and seeing if the DocuSign Community can assist.  Any advice and direction will be much appreciated .   .   

Hi forum.We are moving company and had our service agreement with docusign ending at the end of January.  We planned to re-subscribe in a month or two but in the meantime I decided to downgrade to “free” until we could re-subscribe at that time.Despite my having moved the plan to free a few days prior to the renewal date I was charged the full renewal amount.I noticed this, went into my account which still showed as the Freemium… no billing at all showing for these  new charges.I sent in an email to their support about it and got an email back saying “no problem, we will issue a refund for the whole amount and it may take 10 business days.”Today I noticed another pending charge for the whole subscription renewal amount, again, so I have now been charged twice for a subscription renewal that I actively did not sign up for. I sent in a message.   The same person responded, ignored my question about the second cha
