When a user initiates a PowerForm, provides a signer's name and email and then clicks "Begin Signing" it immediately brings up the document and prompts them to sign it.  Even if they enter a different person's name and email address.   This allows anyone to sign as another person.  Is there a way to prevent this?

Is it possible to change the sender's name in the subject line to someone else's name not on the account?

How can I remove a signer after I have sent the doucment out for signature?  I incorrectly showed I had to sign too and I want to remove myself as a signer without voiding the package

In Classic, I could set signatures to be a specific scale, say 50%. I could even select multiple signatures and set their scale all at once in the Edit Multiple Items dialog.Is there really no way to indicate scale for signatures in New, other than the error-prone method of manually resizing each signature?https://support.docusign.com/en/guides/ndse-user-guide-adjust-field-size

HiWe have just started using DocuSign with our suppliers and one of them raised a question today. How do they know that the Word and Excel docs we have agreed on the details of over email are now the same docs that were uploaded to DocuSign for them to sign?Obviously, we could have a file naming convention, that would be reflected in the name of the doc uploaded to DocuSign, but just uploading a file with "v.12.6 Final" in its name wouldn't mean that it hasn't been changed.They will also have copies of the Word and Excel files that we have agreed, but when they are lengthy docs how do they compare (apart from a manual line by line) with the PDF in DocuSign?There may not be a perfect answer to this one, but any tips would be appreciated.Thanks.

Hi there! Is there a way to have optional fields but make them required to read when requesting signatures? Currently, the optional fields get skipped over the mutiple signatures; we need the client to read these.  Thanks!

Revisiting DocuSign after years of not using because it just created way more work.  I have a template that is a contract for our transport company.  I need to change some fields each time (every time we ship its a different product and dimensions).  It needs to be sent to several different clients a day.  They need to fill in some fields on there own.  I cannot figure out how to simply list them as a recipient and send the contract.  Each time I do it seems I have to "edit" the form to change the fields (awkward).  I want to just click a button, enter an e-mail, make the changes and send the document.   I also seem to be permanently listed as a signer, if I try to take myself off as a signer I will lose all the fields associated with me and that is all of them....essentially deleting the whole document.   Just seems way more complicated than it should be, doesn't help that I'm no technical wiz.  Any Help is appreciated. 

I have a user who had to adopt a new signature after a recent update on the DocuSign mobile app. His signature came up as a squiggle and now he is unable to figure out how to change this signature on the mobile app. A support article I came across for changing signatures said that this isn't supported on the DocuSign Android or iOS app. Is there any workaround to this so he can adopt a new signature and not have the squiggle signature going forward when he signs via the mobile app?

Is it possible to electronically re-sign a document already signed electronically by a tool different from Docusign ?

I am creating a template that requires a start of care date for the signing party, however this date can not be prior to the date the document is signed but can be the same as the date signed. Is there a formula or condition that will allow me to limit the date entered for Start of Care (a text box formated as a date) to the date signed or after? 

I have shared a user's envelopes with multiple other users.  Some of them are able to access the shared envelopes while others cannot.  When users login, goto manage, and click "Shared Envelopes", some users see the Sender's account as an option, and others just see " You don't have any shared users."  There is no other differences I can tell between the users who can see the shared envelopes and the ones that can't.  Looing for troubleshooting steps.  I have made sure that the sharing is going the correct way, meaning the sender's envelopes are shared with the viewer.  This is confirmed because as mentioned some viewers can see the shared envelopes while others can't even select the user.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks.  FYI, the envelopes were created using a template and powerform, in case that makes a difference.

Hello, I would like to put the "review documents" link in the email that is sent to recipients at the bottom of the welcome email that is generated by Docusign. Is that possible? We would like to customize the email that is sent out to recipients as a welcome email with information about hiring date/time/location and other pertinent information. So, we want to ensure that the recipient reads through the whole email before reviewing the documents to sign. Is there a way to restructure the email so that the custom welcome email is viewed first with the "review documents" button at the bottom? Thanks!

Hello all.  I want to publish templates to my sales team.  I do not want them to be able to change the data fields that have been created (move, edit, delete, etc...).  I have figured out how to protect the document....perfect, with one exception.  I do want them to be able to change the Signer Role so they can use their iPads in the field to collect signatures if they are in person. (ie Host a Signing)  By default the signer roles on the templates are set to "Needs to Sign" which shows up as "Remote" on the app.  I would love to do this via the Docusign app but Safari or Chrome access would be okay too.  My suspicion is that by locking down the templates I have also locked down their ability to change the Signer Role.  Any suggestions?

We have approximately two dozen different documents of varying lengths and content that need to be signed.  All of the documents have the same signature block ("Authorized Representative"), but they appear at differnet places within the respective documents.  I know I can use a "floating signature" based off that character string of "Authorized representative", but can I set up just one template that ALL documents can use with this floating signature logic?  From what I read the "matching" feature of the template requires a match on the first/last 25 words, but in this case I don't want the template to match on anything - I just want it to take ANY document I send it, look for "Authorized Representative", and apply the signature. I understand the inherent risk of having such a loose template protocol, but I was wondering if this was even possible. Thanks very much!

Lets say I'm with a client right now and I want them to sign the document as of right now in the docu website. Do I still have to email it to them to let them sign or I can do is use already my phone to let them sign infront of me using my phone . 

I'd like to set up envelopes with a send date in the future.  Can I do that?

Is there a way to attach and upload documents requested for information in Docu sign? i.e. can my senders attach and upload documents in docusign or is there a secure link available in docusign for them to upload and attach requested docs? 

Hi, I created a PowerForm for 3 recipients, the first 2 recipients need to complete and e-sign the document. The 3rd recipient is set up as "CC RECEIVES A COPY" in the template.  When I test the PowerForm, I noticed that I'm able to click in the email address of the 3rd recipient and delete and/or change the email address. When the PowerForm goes live, I don't want any of the recipients to be able to click on the 3rd recipient's email address and delete or change it. Is there a way to disable this? Does DocuSign provide an option to disable recipients from editing a pre-set recipient information? I tried to use the Advanced Setting on the Edit Template page for "Recipient Modification" but I don't think it is the correct application for this. I also tried to search for this topic in the Community, but couldn't find any postings. Thank you!

I am stunned at the lack of functionality of DocuSign. I obviously did not kick the tires enough before I purchased a plan. I made a template, made a Powerform, tested the power form and thought, "Great!" Now I am trying to manage the forms and the interface is one disappointment after the next. I am with a soccer club. I need the same forms signed by 700 players. I want to use PowerForm and post the link to our website. Problem 1: I cannot add any fields to identify the user. Name and email only. I want users to be able to enter parent name, player name, team, email. This basic function is not an option. Problem 2: Since I have no identifying information, I will need to look at each individual parent name, look up their child, look up what team they are on, move that form to that folder. Problem 3: No bulk download. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I will open 700 forms and download them individually? One of our forms is a medical release that needs to

when I receive a DocuSign it comes back to my deleted Hotmail account and I do not get it on my mobile 

I have a consent form that needs to be signed by parents.I have a list of 500 parents & their email addresses.Each email address needs to receive their own copy of a form and fill out their child's name, check a box indicating a preference & sign the document.Currently, I have only been able to send the same document to multiple people, but in my case, each person needs their own copy of a document.Is this possible without having to individually send the document 500 times?

I'm having trouble when I share a template with the signatures and text fields saving... so if one of my associates choose one of my templates and just sends it, there are no fields to fill in or places to sign???

Using AutoPlace fields for signature and name and data successfully since they clearly are prompted for when using the AddRecipient function in a workflow in Dynamics 365 but since there isn't a specific field to map the job title of the person, where is the title autoplace field type pulling from?  It appears that the first time it is an editable blank field to the enduser and if you send to the same person again, it remembers the last title and uses that.  I want it to be able to pull from Dynamics but I do NOT want to use a template since templates are of little use to how we use this since our documents are not static in length.  We use autoPlace fields and with Title being an option, need to simply know where DocuSign thinks the title is to pull from.
