Docusign Gen, How to get a document for each opp product salesforce

Using Opportunities, with Opp Line items, on the opp I have a few line items, how do i get the associated documents for each product ( associated to the opportunity product) and collect them into 1 envelope?

Populating Discount from Opportunity Product onto Template?

Hello! I am trying to build a quote and order form template using DocuSign Gen for Salesforce. I am running into difficulty finding the standard Discount field on the opportunity product line item in my selection of fields to choose from. Has anyone else ran into this issue? How have you resolved?

DocuSign Issue in Salesforce regarding pulling in the parent's child (Sibling of Source Object) record data

We are trying to pull the data of below records Source Object -----→ Reference Object (Lookup Parent) ----→ Child of the Reference ObjectCustom Object ------→ Contact -----------→ Contact related items The above is the data structure in salesforce we are working with and stuck on pulling the Contact related items, we are using DocuSign Gen Template.

Conditionally show a radio button group to recipient depending on merge field value

Hello, I’ve a couple of merge / sender fields created on the template. I want to show radio buttons to the recipient if one of the merge field value is true, else hide the radio button from the user. How to achieve this ? Conditional fields is not serving the purpose. TIA! Regards, Mehul Shah

How do I correct formatting on SFDC Doc Gen-- it looks good in create. but preview and generate :(

Hi all- Thanks for the advice in advance !! I have created a template from a word document. I added in the merge fields and it looks good and is pulling in good for the create page. I've also added signature and title blocks at the bottom. On the create page everything looks fine and is spaced correctly. When I go to the preview and or generate in salesforce, the bottom pieces are all jumbled together with no spacing for the signature blocks. How do I make sure create looks the same as preview and generate? There's clearly something I missed or something is broken. Thank you. #Frustrated

multiple variable if statements in formulas

Is it possible to have a formula detect multiple variables from a dropdown tab using an if statement? For example, If([dropdown menu]= 9 OR 8, 1,0) → the goal here is to have the formula produce a 1, if the dropdown menu is either 9 or 8. currently, it seems to only work with one variable. If this is possible, what is the correct syntax or formula structure?

Custom field placeholders in envelope template message

Our users generate envelopes using a template. From the template, I would like to include placeholders that reference the signer’s organization and other custom fields used in the document (contract number, end date, etc). Is it possible to insert and populate custom field placeholders in envelope messages or private messages using templates? Can this be done when sending envelopes without a template?

Question about formulas and how to display their results

2 part question. I’m Looking for some advice on formulas. I understand the concept of displaying a 1or 0 as a true/false result, Im curious if there is a way to display the result of a formula in a separate text box. For example, If I were looking to have the formula [Box 1] *.3 display the result in a new text box, is that possible? Also, the closing parentheses in the If statement seems to be “breaking” the formula. I’d love some advice on how to properly format those. for Example, if([Box1] + [Box2] = 100, 1, 0) ← the final parentheses seems to break the formula. Thanks!

Hyperlinks as merge fields in docx creation using DocGen

When sending the data payload and docx template to Docusign, if the template contains any hyperlinks it throws error in the creation of document. Is there a way to have dynamic hyperlinks sent in the payload to be clickable on the document created by DocGen?

Show Content Rule Syntax Error

Hello! I’m doing some testing on a demo developer account. I’m creating test templates using the word template assistant and I keep getting a syntax error message when I try to upload the template. From everything I have looked up on the documentation this syntax should be correct. Why can’t I get this template to upload? Is this a limitation of demo? The template is attached below.

Agreement Template Builder not working in large documents

Hi community, I've recently used the template for a Data Sharing Agreement we want to send out. We have the Agreement Template Builder option enabled in our Admin settings but it seems that it’s only working in smaller documents. When I uploaded a two page template, it let me use the Template Builder, but with our 15 page DSA, it doesn't. Has anyone faced this?

Cannot save 1 of 8 files in my completed document

I have a completed envelope made up of 8 files. I cannot download to save the 7th of the 8 files. (Other 7 files are no problem.) Error on web brower is: “This site can’t be reached...(long web address)...might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR. File 7 is large, 23,521KB, and was just under the DocuSign upload limit. Cannot forward this envelope to others, for others to attempt. Cannot print this file as PDF as the combined file is too large. “{"errorCode":"COMBINED_DOCUMENT_SIZE_OVER_LIMIT","message":"An error occurred while downloading the document. Try downloading the documents in a .zip file Total size of all documents being downloaded exceeds the allowed limit: 100MB. Please try to single download each documents" Tried clearing cache. Did not help.

Conditional Logic if a field is not empty

Hi, I am new to DocuSign Gen and building out my first template. I would like a section to be shown if a field is not null. how to send documents after we generated them

Hi, We are new to Gen and we use DocuSign Apps Launcher v6.9 within Salesforce. After we generate the documents, how do we send them? I was under the impression that it would be seamless, we generate then we would be prompted to send. But after the documents generate we are prompted to Preview/Download and click done and get directed back to our record. I think I am missing a piece. Can someone provide any insight? Thanks!

Specifying Custom Text Box Size with Tags in DocuSign Word Documents

I would like to know if it is possible to specify the size of a text box for a custom field using the tag added in a Word document in DocuSign, such as \text_1\. If so, what is the correct syntax to specify the dimensions (width and height) directly within the tag? Thank you for your assistance.

I created a document from a template, filled it out, shared it, only to find that it was shared half-filled out. I tried to correct it, but when hitting “next” after add recipients, it loads a blank screen under “Add Field Data.” When I click “review”, it just says, “something went wrong. Please try again.” I tried clicking on support and it asks me to log in. When I do, it just says, “unable to log in.” Contact support. Ironic. I can log into my account just fine and open documents. I tried clearing cache and cookies. I am using Chrome with no site-interfering extensions.

OCR post signatures - Optical Character Recognition

Some documents are not OCR’d when signatures are completed. Odobe will not ODC documents post-signatures. If there a setting we can use to ensure documents are OCR enabled before signatures and, is there a process to OCR post-signatures? Our documents are stored in SharePoint and being able to search the document text/content is important for our organization. Thanks,Mary

Word based template : Blank page instead of hidden condtionnal content

Hi everyone, In my DocGen word based template, I use some conditionnal display for some appendices of my document. I recently add some sections into my document to have few pages in landscape display. But now when the match is true, everything is display correctly and when the match is false, instead of my content remaining hidden, a blank page takes its place. To be more precise, between my matching condition and my endcondtionnal, I used “Next page” elements to separate my landscape page from my portrait pages. I tried with the “continuous” element but it didn’t work well after generation. Because it’s the only real difference with my previous version without “blank pages”, it seems that it came from the “next pages” elements, as if the next page element was out of my condtionnal display, but I don’t find any other solution for the landscaped pages. Do you have any idea how to fix this ? thanks in advance Stan

All my email recipients are seeing each other's information

I sent out 18 emails today, typed in individually. DocuSign made me choose which fields each person needed to fill out by their name. And then sent all the emails. But now the form is filled out with everyone’s response, and not just for each individual. HELP! Shelly

Generating google sheet or CSV form fields from Templates (dynamic Fields)

HI I have created a dynamic Template that contains adopter and foster information for a shepherd rescue. The adopter signs the adoption contract, and our rescue also completes with signature. Our Treasurer uses the final contract information to document for tax purposes the adopter information and rescue fee and puts this info in Quick Books. The new template style makes it hard for her to copy and paste the info. is there a way to write the dynamic data fields that were created into a CSV file or google sheet without having to use a tool like Zapier ? or do I need Zapier to do create and document the list of adopters, rescue fee, adopter info etc

Suppress Certain Opp Line Items
