Set signature location not working for PDF docs

​When I try to set location to get a signature on certain PDF documents it doesn't recognise any words. Is it because it needs to be a word doc for docusign to be able to pick up words or is there a workaround? Thanks

Change Default Email address

Hi - I would like to remove the email address and name of the sender from the default DocuSign email. I understand that this can be done by editing the Email Resource File although this will have to be updated at every DocuSign release.  Do you know of any other way to remove the sender name and email address?

When does a document that was resent expire?

If I have to resend a document when does that resent document expire? After looking on the website for help I read that the document that was resent will expire 3 days from the date the document was resent, not the original date it was sent. However, I had to resend a couple documents that ended up expiring the next day. Am I misunderstanding the timeframe?  Thanks!

Sending an Envelope using a link in Outlook, instead of in Docusign

I need to send a sign-off list out for signature, but I also want to add hyperlinks to other reference documents in the message. Ideally, I would like to use a link to sign in an Outlook email but it appears that I am forced to use the DocuSign message section instead (presumably to not have a different contact list in Outlook than in DocuSign). This would also allow people to forward the message to additional recipients without having to manually add them in DocuSign. Alternatively, I would like to add hyperlinks to the DocuSign message section if this is not feasible. Is there anything I am missing, or any tricks to achieve this? Thanks in advance.

Resending a document for signature

I sent a document to 3 people for signature.  The first two recipients signed and I am waiting for the 3rd recipient to sign.  He has asked me to resend the document.  If I click RESEND, will the document be resent to all three recipients (including the two who already signed) or will it only go to the 3rd recipient who has not yet signed?  Thanks.

Need to view-function, how should this work?

I'm using the webinterface. When creating a new Envelope, I would like to add 4 recipients where the first one only need to verify (Needs to view) that the order is correct. When he/she clicks the Review-button in the e-mail (before he/she has reviewed the actual document) the envelope is forwarded to the next recipient.I would like the process to be like when the first one actually reviewed the document, he/she would be forced to click OK before it's forwarded to the next recipient. What is the purpose with Needs to view?If I only want to send it as "for your information" I can select "receives a copy". Now I had to add "Needs to Sign" and ask for initials for verification to avoid the envelope to be forwarded before he/she have actually reviewed the document. Am I supposed to do it differently? Thanks a lot in advance for clarification!

Signer said she signed. My account says still waiting for signature.

I am using electronic signatures for my own personal use for the first time (outside buying a home- didn't set any of that up!). I needed a blogger to sign something allowing me to copy a script she wrote.  I created it on this site and sent it. She said in a personal email that she signed it. My account said she opened and viewed it, and its status is "Waiting for Others." I don't see a signature anywhere.  Do I just resend? I imagine it would be pretty simple to sign.  Is there something about being in my free trial that would keep me from seeing the signed document? Or do I just need to resend and contact her?  Thanks!

Is it possible change Sender name on email?

Hello Everyone, I have one more question you know when you send and envelope normally recipient receives and email that says in the subject for example "Pedro via DocuSign" in this case the subject has two elemts "Sender´s Name via DocuSign". There is any way to change this?. For example instead of receive email with name "Pedro Via DocuSign" receives an emmail that says "IDB Group via DocuSign" without change my name in my profile, just change the subject in the email. Will apreciate very much your help Regards

New to Docusign Please Help with sending to Guardian

I need to upload a template and have the Guardian sign and date, send back to me and then I would reupload template and have a clinician and Patient sign on a different date. I also need to learn how to add radio buttons and their value making it possible that once the Guardian signs and agrees to services, the patient and clinician cannot click and undo the buttons that Guardian originally signed.

Text Box Question

When I use the text box, I am careful to align words and margins so that my text flows normally and the text ends appropriately and not in the middle of a company etc.  When it gets to the signers. it has changed from what I entered. Why? EXAMPLE ONLY should look like- ahfkhf;ahf;sf   aksfh;sfh;  iasd;IEHF;EHFOGHSAKD LKALSHKS lfsif;ljgldslLFJOE   ASKDJoihdejf'lef'lfjslf;skd jflfsljfl and ABC Company Inc. I get-  ahfkhf;ahf;sf   aksfh;sfh;      iasd;IEHF;EHFOGHSAKD LKALSHKS lfsif;ljgldsldjLFJOE         ASKDJoihdejf'lef'lfjslf;skd jflfsljfl and       ABC Company Inc.  (it moves the rest of the name down and creates bigger spaces in the sentence)

Embadded Signing - Hide 'Decline to Sign' option from contract

I am using embedded signing via template and rest API. Using template, I am creating a contract and presenting it in iFrame for signing to the customer. I have a requirement to hide 'Decline to Sign' option from the DocuSign contract so the customer can’t decline it. In code I added setEnableWetSign("false") which is hiding 'Print and Sing' option only. and I could not find any other API method for hiding 'Decline to Sign'. Could you please tell me if any API available to do this or any template or account level setting required?

Can I update one of the signer's email addresses when the document has been partially completed by other signers?

I sent a document to 5 signers.  All have signed except for one.  I wanted to send this document to the last signer's assistance to expedite the signing.  Can I update the last signer's email address or forward the document to the last signer's assistance when the document is partially signed?

PowerForm

When a user initiates a PowerForm, provides a signer's name and email and then clicks "Begin Signing" it immediately brings up the document and prompts them to sign it.  Even if they enter a different person's name and email address.   This allows anyone to sign as another person.  Is there a way to prevent this?

New Experience: Signature size setting?

In Classic, I could set signatures to be a specific scale, say 50%. I could even select multiple signatures and set their scale all at once in the Edit Multiple Items dialog.Is there really no way to indicate scale for signatures in New, other than the error-prone method of manually resizing each signature?https://support.docusign.com/en/guides/ndse-user-guide-adjust-field-size

Any tips for confirming the docs agreed via email (e.g. Word + Excel) are the same as those posted to DocuSign for signature?

HiWe have just started using DocuSign with our suppliers and one of them raised a question today. How do they know that the Word and Excel docs we have agreed on the details of over email are now the same docs that were uploaded to DocuSign for them to sign?Obviously, we could have a file naming convention, that would be reflected in the name of the doc uploaded to DocuSign, but just uploading a file with "v.12.6 Final" in its name wouldn't mean that it hasn't been changed.They will also have copies of the Word and Excel files that we have agreed, but when they are lengthy docs how do they compare (apart from a manual line by line) with the PDF in DocuSign?There may not be a perfect answer to this one, but any tips would be appreciated.Thanks.

Optional fields but required to read?

Hi there! Is there a way to have optional fields but make them required to read when requesting signatures? Currently, the optional fields get skipped over the mutiple signatures; we need the client to read these.  Thanks!

using templates for different recipients

Revisiting DocuSign after years of not using because it just created way more work.  I have a template that is a contract for our transport company.  I need to change some fields each time (every time we ship its a different product and dimensions).  It needs to be sent to several different clients a day.  They need to fill in some fields on there own.  I cannot figure out how to simply list them as a recipient and send the contract.  Each time I do it seems I have to "edit" the form to change the fields (awkward).  I want to just click a button, enter an e-mail, make the changes and send the document.   I also seem to be permanently listed as a signer, if I try to take myself off as a signer I will lose all the fields associated with me and that is all of them....essentially deleting the whole document.   Just seems way more complicated than it should be, doesn't help that I'm no technical wiz.  Any Help is appreciated.

Changing signature on DocuSign app

I have a user who had to adopt a new signature after a recent update on the DocuSign mobile app. His signature came up as a squiggle and now he is unable to figure out how to change this signature on the mobile app. A support article I came across for changing signatures said that this isn't supported on the DocuSign Android or iOS app. Is there any workaround to this so he can adopt a new signature and not have the squiggle signature going forward when he signs via the mobile app?
