I have a complex webform with several fields, each with their own list of dropdown and rules.

Is it possible to copy and paste a field in the webform so I dont have to re-type each dropdown item? This way , i would already have the dropdown and only need to edit the rule.

I understand you want to know if you can copy and paste a field in the Webform. This would save you from re-typing each dropdown item and only needing to edit the rule. Rest assured, I will make effort to help.

Has there been any progress on this? This is functionality that definitely exists with other leading form building tools. I have a drop down with over 300 options that I need to reuse about 20 times across various forms. It took well over an hour to get the one initial drop down built.

Hi @gmike, thanks for reaching out.

At the moment, copying a webform field isn’t available yet. However, it is on the team’s radar as a feature we plan to add in the future.

If you’re building your form from a template. You can save your dropdown as a custom field so you can easily reuse it across multiple forms.

@Jenny.Martin Thank you, yes, I was made aware of this and using it now, however I believe it is only available in the classic editor and if the list ever changes, admins need to access every field in every template where this has been used and edit independantly. Also, since only in classic, we lose funtionality related to the new editor and document generation. Overall it feels like a very piecemeal solution that requires a lot of work arounds.Years behind other platforms.
