On the document that we import from our system there are options for the customer to tick a box to say that they want to opt in to future information, Please can you advise how I go about setting this up on our document ?

We currently have DocuSign and we also have the Salesforce app installed so that we can send contract directly from within salesforce.  I have a question i am struggling to get answered. I understand there is a 'Fax Documents for Signature' feature - https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?language=en_US&rsc_301&bundleId=gav1643676262430&topicId=nry1578456314231.html&_LANG=enus But what i need to know is can we use this through the salesforce integration? The documentation points to how to change from email to fax when you are sending the envelope from the website login.  Whereas in salesforce we have a 'Send with Docusign' button, do we have the option to select if we want this to be emailed or faxed? 

Dear support,Dear DocuSign community, I am struggling with some new features in DocuSign which I noticed today and for which I need a recommendation or solution:a.  in the past I had 3 options for signing an envelopenow I have 5 (which one to use is now more complex as I have several partners who accept DocuSign but do not have an account) When I initiated the signage process in the past, I could just put my initials on each page of the doc and sign with the SMS → NOW DocuSign asks on each page for 1) the purpose of the initials and 2) the Authentication  (that is wired and exhausting -  please help)     Thank you very much for your support!

Hi,I have a DocuSign template that includes field tags in the document. I need to attach another document to this template document. The reason for this is that the template page serves as a common page that must appear at the end of all other documents. Is it possible to attach an additional document to the existing template document using DocuSign API?Thanks!

We use Docusign eSignature APIOne of our customers needs to set up a QES, and some of the signatories have last names with diacritical marks (e.g., a slashed "o" or umlauts).Could this potentially cause any issues with identity verification?

Hello,I’m currently sending some documents to be signed in french language.I have templates host in my api resources in HTML format. I use openhtmltoolpdf to format my html documents as pdf. My freemarker templates contain some form fields to enable recipients to fill all the info with any PDF reader.I use some DocusignDate and the html attribute data-pdf-form-field="true" then request docusign to transform the pdf fields with transformPdfFields.The recipients receive the form well formatted except the date fields.When i change the regional settings of my admin account, the format of date fields is well updated but the validation is not working anymore.  May anyone help me please ? Regards,Antoine

Do i need docusign license for signing document?i know License is needed to send documents out for signature.

I have created a contract in PDF format.  Every contract is for a different customer.  The contract is partly populated from our database and partly completed with unique information in fillable areas and then saved.  The contract is then uploaded into DocuSign and a template is applied.  For some people this works perfectly, and all the fields are allocated the correct “initial/signature” spots.  In all cases an initial pop-up window appears saying that “Form Fields were found” and once the template is applied, another pop-up appears saying “Template was successfully applied.”  However, once we move to the contract itself, and the window below pops up with the option to “Keep PDF form data” and that is selected, we get a perfect contract, if this window does not pop up the initials/signatures are off to the right and aren’t lined up where they should be.  I cannot find a solution to this problem online.  I have looked at whether it is a difference between using Chrome or Edge and also

Hello DocuSign Community,I am working on a form where I need to capture specific numeric values in a "Score" field based on the radio button (bullet point) selected by the user. Currently, I can only set up rules to show or hide fields based on the selection, but I need to directly populate a number field with a predefined value corresponding to each bullet point selected.Here’s what I’m trying to achieve: Depending on which bullet point the user selects, a corresponding numeric value should automatically fill a separate "Score" field. For example, if Option A is selected, the Score field should automatically be set to 100, Option B to 70, and so forth.The existing rules functionality only allows me to show or hide fields but does not support assigning values directly. Is there a workaround or a method within DocuSign to accomplish this?Thank you for your help!

Hi, I’ve been having any issue in trying to activate Docusign on Microsoft Word for a user.The error message received “Please try again or Contact IT. The user lacks sufficient permission to access this resource”Scenario: User already has DS Sender access granted and was able to sign documents that is received on Docusign Portal. Issue only occurs when trying to sign documents directly from Microsoft Word. > Docusign for Microsoft Word was installed without a hitch> Sign-in was successful as MFA prompt was seen cleared from our end.> But user is receiving the notification the error message mentioned in the third line. Additional note: Have tried to install Docusign from AppSource, if it makes any difference, but it still generates an error messsage, albeit a different one, “Please try again or Contact IT. I was asked to sign a document by someone and one of the questions is asking for my phone number. I don’t understand what format they want me to enter the phone number in. I have tried entering it in normally and with dashes. The sample format they gave me was #, # # #. ##. which makes no sense.

We use DocuSign for time and attendance slips.  We have noticed that a time slip will be signed by the associate, manager, and HR, but we continue to receive duplicate copies of the slip.  The manager reports similar duplicate e-mails.  I recently received an e-mail from a time slip that had been completed in August.  Is there a way to prevent this?  

I’m trying to use the sdk for an integration, and when I pass the credentials in the “RequestJWTUserToken” method, it errors out at the first null check:“if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(userId))”. When looking at the userId object, it’s set correctly to my User ID on DocuSign. It’s not null or empty, so I’m not sure why it’s erroring out here.If I let it run through, I get the error:"Error while requesting server, received a non successful HTTP code with response Body: "So it’s not reaching the point where the DocuSignResponse object is created. I’m not sure what’s going wrong here, as my credentials seem correct for the clientId, userId, oauthBasePath, and the privateKey. My coworker who has worked with DocuSign before and I are both stumped. ###NEVERMIND, the problem seems to be combing from multiple requests on the front-end trying to write at the same time. It’s running the DocuSignClient prematurely in some cases.

Situation - I have created a form which is tied to underlying template. I am using a configuration to generate the document based off of form and then launching the workflow.Workflow is configured to run at Document generation configuration. However, I do not see Documents.Document.Id variable for the main generated document but am only able to see the fields in the form, i.e., Params.Params.TemplateFieldData.Attachments_Attachments.Attachments_SingleValue.0.Document.Uid".However, if I change workflow config to trigger based off Document then I do not see form fields. Not sure where I am going wrong.But I am unable to assign document IDs of both main and attached documents in one workflow and unable to generate a combined document.Also, in case a user has uploaded multiple files, how would we capture document ID for each as template only shows 1 variable.Any help would be highly appreciated.

I’m trying to use RequestJWTUserToken on the C# SDK, but it keeps failing at “RestClient.SendRequest(Request)”. The docuSignResponse object keeps coming back with a StatusCode of “InternalServerError”. My coworker is able to run a separate project just fine, so the error must be on my end. Does anyone know what might cause the response to error? I’ve checked and made sure the clientId = Integration Key, userId = User ID, and the string from privateKeyBytes matches my RSA Private Key. Hey there!I've been trying to pay repeatedly for my docusign plan for two weeks now. Unfortunately, I can't process the payment, but my bank couldn't tell me where the problem is. It is said that the payment is with the supplier's payment gateway.I'm trying to get somewhere through docusign support, but it's completely useless... I need to write to someone, the bot is of no use to me.Does anyone know what to do please?Tomas

I have a document in an envelope which I want 2 people to sign and I need to include their name and job title in the document.  The first person is in my organisation so I know their name and job title so that can be text in the original document.  I think I know the person in the other organisation, but to cater for when I need to resend to a different person, I’ve used the Name field which uses the name from the recipient details. For the job title, I’ve tried to use Title from the standard fields and set it to Read Only expecting to get a box to enter text (as seen in support ) but I only have the options shown in the screenshot.Is this functionality dependent on the plan I have? 

Am using company provided mail address which i would like to change. Please advice.
