How to force signature to respect signHere tab's bounding box ?

I calling signature API with JAva SDK.I generate my PDF with itext library and I’m able to extract the correct position and dimension of some table cells in my PDF. I pass these coordinates to SignHereTabs because signers should sign on their own table row in a specific cell. Because PDF coordinates have a bottom-left origin but Docusign’s fixed-positioning coordinates have top-left origin, I reverse my “y” coordinate by subtracting it from page size to get the correct y-from-top value. Itext and Docusign coordinates values are compatible because they both use dots as unit ( = 1/72th of inch) But I have 2 issues :1) position : signHere effective position (as given to signer by Docusign signing view on their website) is about 68 or 72 pixel too low. I don’t know what is shifting signHere tabs 1 row toward the bottom…2) dimension : though I set explicitly signHere width and height, signature are not respecting it and are too big. I could reduce signature size by setting a 0.5 scale on si

Getting error code RESTEASY003215 while using docusign 6.0.0 with jdk21 and spring boot 3.3.1

DocuSign eSignature SDK (docusign-esign-java) and RESTEasy Client Compatibility

Hello DocuSign Community, We're currently facing a challenge while trying to integrate the DocuSign eSignature SDK (docusign-esign-java) into our Java application. We are using the RESTEasy client version 3.13.2.FINAL, and we've encountered the following error: RESTEASY003215: could not find writer for content-type application/x-www-form-urlencoded type: javax.ws.rs.core.Form In an attempt to resolve this issue, we updated the versions of resteasy-jaxb-provider and resteasy-multipart-provider, hoping that it would fix the compatibility issue or the error above. Unfortunately, this approach did not yield the desired outcome. We also considered updating the version of resteasy-client to a more recent one. However, we found that the newer versions of resteasy-client are not compatible with our current version of keycloak-admin-client (19.0.3), which is a critical part of our application's authentication system. Creating Envelopes with NextJs

I’m using the DocuSign Node.js package to create an envelope in my Next.js application. I have imported the necessary classes from DocuSign as: import { ApiClient, EnvelopesApi, EnvelopeDefinition, TemplateRole } from 'docusign-esign'; But, it seems like I am unable to use the “EnvelopeDefinition” method. I have it as: // Prepare the envelope details const envelopeDefinition = new EnvelopeDefinition(); The issue I’m having is that I get the message; “'EnvelopeDefinition' only refers to a type, but is being used as a value here.” when try to initialize the envelope definition. What am I doing wrong? Can someone please asssist?

C# SDK v8.0.0.0 No longer Synchronous-Safe

Just updated from version 5.3 to version 8 of C# esign SDK (integrating w/ .NET Framework 4.8 MVC App) to take advantage of “IncludeAnchorTabLocations”.Didn’t realize it would mean completely rewriting everything to use async since the synchronous methods now just call the async method .GetResult() public OAuth.OAuthToken RequestJWTUserToken(string clientId, string userId, string oauthBasePath, byte[] privateKeyBytes, int expiresInHours, List<string> scopes = null) { CancellationTokenSource cts = new CancellationTokenSource(); return TryCatchWrapper(() => RequestJWTUserTokenAsync(clientId, userId, oauthBasePath, privateKeyBytes, expiresInHours, scopes, cts.Token).ConfigureAwait(false).GetAwaiter().GetResult()); } comparison of v7 (synchronous-safe) w/ v8 (synchronous-unsafe) Took me way too long to figure out why the application was hanging. Warning to anyone out there upgrading to v8 -- beware of deadlocks if you’re not using the async methods!

Docusign Developer accoutnt is automixally deleted after 1-2 days

i have created the developer account in the docusign for e-signature api but it automatically deleted after 2 days every time, and try to login so getting the error no accout found and also integration is deleted, so how to fix it.

Click Api 404 - File or directory not found

I’ve been using Docusign click api for a few months, specifically the elastic templates. Recently one particular template has started to return a 404 - File or directory not foun error. But this document aleready has responses. AccountId and clickwrapId seems to be fine too. Has anyone seen such error before?

Update Recipients with UpdateTabs Not displaying sign here tabs using c# SDK

Hi, I am implementing docusign envelope/ esignature api using docusign SDK, I have implemented CreateEnvelopeAsync() successfully, but if i had put wrong email address for recipient signer then recipient signer email bounced or autoresponded. in that situation i am updating recipient signer with sign here tabs, and recipient updated successfully. but when signer opens email and going to review envelope and to do sign then the sign here tab not displayed with AnchorString at specific AnchorYOffset and AnchorXOffset on the document. So please provide any solution. Trying to use RequestJWTUserToken, getting the error "User Id not supplied or is invalid!", when it is valid.

I’m trying to use the sdk for an integration, and when I pass the credentials in the “RequestJWTUserToken” method, it errors out at the first null check: “if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(userId))”. When looking at the userId object, it’s set correctly to my User ID on DocuSign. It’s not null or empty, so I’m not sure why it’s erroring out here. If I let it run through, I get the error:"Error while requesting server, received a non successful HTTP code with response Body: " So it’s not reaching the point where the DocuSignResponse object is created. I’m not sure what’s going wrong here, as my credentials seem correct for the clientId, userId, oauthBasePath, and the privateKey. My coworker who has worked with DocuSign before and I are both stumped. ### NEVERMIND, the problem seems to be combing from multiple requests on the front-end trying to write at the same time. It’s running the DocuSignClient prematurely in some cases.

Help with C# SDK. DocuSignResponse.StatusCode coming back as "InternalServerError".

I’m trying to use RequestJWTUserToken on the C# SDK, but it keeps failing at “RestClient.SendRequest(Request)”. The docuSignResponse object keeps coming back with a StatusCode of “InternalServerError”. My coworker is able to run a separate project just fine, so the error must be on my end. Does anyone know what might cause the response to error? I’ve checked and made sure the clientId = Integration Key, userId = User ID, and the string from privateKeyBytes matches my RSA Private Key. The scopes are “signature” and “impersonation”. Phone verification config is not having any effect during esign process.

I am using the developer account to develop a POC for e-signing using Docusign SDK. Our App authorises users using phone number and hence at the E-sign process for a loggedIn user, we need to ensure the authenticity/Identity of the user is correct. I’ve configured the template to enable the identification of user via phone/sms but during the signing docusign app is not asking for any OTP. Please help. I’ve referred this link for the configuration.

Envelopes GetDocument responds COMBINEDDOWNLOAD_UNABLETOGENERATEPDF

I’m using the SDK C# and when sending a request Envelopes::GetDocument (link) to get the documents, this fails with error: "errorCode":"COMBINEDDOWNLOAD_UNABLETOGENERATEPDF","message":"Unable to generate combined PDF. Please download the documents as an archive." Odd thing is that we are not requesting combined documents. Asking for combined documents would need the specific keyword “combined”, but we don’t have it or use it. Could the error code be related to something else than combined documents? I have not found any information about this error code.

RequestJWTUserTokenAsync Not Returning

Anybody is having issue retrieving the token Docusign.eSign version 8.0.0 on dot.net 4.8? aToken = docuSignClient.RequestJWTUserTokenAsync(clientId, impersonatedUserId, oAuthBaseUri, privateKeyBytes, tokenExpiry, scopes, token) Return aToken.Result ‘←- this never returns, neither the timeout token kick in. It’s stuck and go no where forever.

Can't create neither anchor neither fixed positioning for signing

Hi I am currently trying to place the SignHere tab. I have tried the anchor but have found out that my document, generated by the FPDF library, is not machine readable. So I have changed my mind and am now trying to place a fixed position to the SignHere tab. But it isn’t working either. It seems like my pdf is treated like a whole and not like pages. Is that possible ? Could this be the reason ? If so, how can I do ? Thank you for your help.

Quickstart Java SDK is not working

Hi All, I downloaded a quick start java app from docusign developer portal and it was working fine till last week. When i tested today, it is not working. It does not throw any exceptions or error. When running the main class, the program simply terminates without providing any message or error. The file to sign will be fetched from a local folder, convert into base64 then send it to the API functions. When it enters the below lines of code, the entire program simply terminates and no code below these lines are getting executed. EnvelopesApi envelopesApi = new EnvelopesApi(apiClient); EnvelopeSummary results = envelopesApi.createEnvelope(accountId, envelope); Can someone please guide me on this?

Tabs in Composite template for specific signer

I am trying to use this example from https://apirequestbuilder.docusign.com. As can be seen in this example, the signer 1 is not assigned any tabs (text1, text2).. All tabs (fields, checkbox etc) are assigned only to Signer2. Yet both Signer1 and Signer2 are able to see the data (values of text1 and text2 tabs) when the envelope is sent for signing. why is this happening? // DocuSign Builder example. Error: BULK_SEND_ROLE_NAMES_MUST_BE_UNIQUE

I am using Docusign.eSign .NET package to integrate with docusign. I am trying to use BulkEnvelopesApi.CreateBulkSendRequest. I have two roles - Admin and Supervisor and I am assigning two emails to each of these two roles something like this (captured the model as JSON) { "bulkCopies": [ { "recipients":[ {"email":"admin@contoso.com","name":"Admin","roleName":"Admin"}, {"email":"supervisor-1@contoso.com","name":"Supervisor-1","roleName":"Supervisor"}, {"email":"supervisor-2@contoso.com","name":"Supervisor-2","roleName":"Supervisor"}]} ], "name":"Demo"} } ]} Now, when I call createbulksendlist, i get the error BULK_SEND_ROLE_NAMES_MUST_BE_UNIQUE. I believe this is because I have Supervisor role twice in the JSON. So how do i send the request where multiple recipients share the same role?

docusign is not defined in react ts app

Hello Docusign community, I'm currently integrating Docusign's embedded signature feature into my React TypeScript application. I've followed the steps in the documentation and installed the necessary dependencies, but I'm encountering an error where 'docusign' is not defined. This error appears multiple times throughout my code (e.g., Line 112:26). Envelopes GetDocument responds USER_AUTHENTICATION_FAILED

I’m using the SDK C# and when sending a request Envelopes::GetDocument (link) to get the documents, this fails with error: "errorCode":"USER_AUTHENTICATION_FAILED","message":"One or both of Username and Password are invalid. Invalid access token" All other API calls before calling GetDocument are passing OK - for example when calling Envelopes::listDocument (before the GetDocument) to get the list of documents, that returns succesfully. But then with same starting point GetDocument fails. We do checks for token validity etc. before calling these methods and only GetDocument respons with error. What could be the cause and what should we consider?
