I am using the developer account to develop a POC for e-signing using Docusign SDK. Our App authorises users using phone number and hence at the E-sign process for a loggedIn user, we need to ensure the authenticity/Identity of the user is correct. I’ve configured the template to enable the identification of user via phone/sms but during the signing docusign app is not asking for any OTP. Please help.

If you're experiencing issues with receiving SMS authentication OTPs from DocuSign, here are a few suggestions to help resolve the problem:

Troubleshooting SMS Authentication Issues:

  1. Verify the Phone Number: Double-check that the phone number associated with your DocuSign account is correct, including the appropriate country code. Ensure there are no extra spaces, symbols, or formatting errors.

  2. Contact Your Mobile Provider: Some mobile carriers may block SMS messages from automated systems like DocuSign due to security measures. Reach out to your carrier to confirm whether this might be the case and request them to allow messages from DocuSign's system.


Have you contact the support enable these feature for your developer account? As I know these feature are disabled by default. You should contact support team(https://support.docusign.com) to enable it.
