Hi - I have created fields in templates within a doc gen form and the user fills out those fields on the contract. However, I am unable to find where that data is stored within the CLM. Where can I see the information the user fills in on those fields? It does not show up on the left side like all the standard fields. Thanks in advance.
Where to see information from added fields in Doc Gen form

Hello
Welcome to the DocuSign Community!
By "shows up on the left side like all the standard fields," I assume you're referring to attributes in CLM that show up in tasks. The data users fill out in the Doc Gen form fields doesn't automatically get stored as attributes unless you specifically configure it to do so.
To store this data within CLM:
-
Create an attribute under the appropriate attribute group where you want the data to be saved.
-
In the workflow, use the "Update Metadata Value" step to map the field from the Doc Gen form to the corresponding attribute.
-
This will allow the value to be stored and displayed alongside your other attributes on the left side of the document record.
Let me know if you'd like help setting up the workflow or mapping the attributes correctly!
Thanks!
