Generate contract (pdf) from Salesforce Opportunity (Apex)

Hello all, We have a button on our Salesforce Opportunities that redirects us to a standard Docusign page to generate the contract and get it into Salesforce files. Our button calls this url, providing the template id: {!URLFOR('/apex/dfsle__gendocumentgenerator', null, [sId = Opportunity.Id, templateId = 'a1OAZ0000007wXM2AY', recordId = Opportunity.Id, recordName = Opportunity.Name, title = 'Contrat'])} Once clicked, the contract is being generated and when we get back on our Opportunity in Salesforce, we can find the file related (pdf). Our need is to replace that manual action using apex by calling Docusign API to generate and store it as file on the Opportunity. I have checked on forum, but did not find an easy to integrate solution, what would you recommend please? NB: We dont need to sign the contract, just to generate it Thanks for your help!

Next button on the Send with Docusign Action page is not working

After refresh my sandbox with production. Again user is added in the “Docusign Setup”> “User Managemenet”. User has necessary permission set assigned for generates and send document. Now after generate the document, when I hit “Send with Docusign” Action Button. It shows an error toast notification with “Not Found”. After that nothing happens. and Send with Docusign page stays on that page only.What would be the issue

Get remote signing URL in Salesforce

I have a requirement to trigger sending of a document via DocuSign for remote signing. The signing link for the documents needs to be sent as a text message (SMS) using a custom solution (Twilio). Using Apex Toolkit dfsle.EnvelopeService.sendEnvelope(myEnvelope, false), I’m able to generate an envelope with a Template. Now the challenge is to get the signing URL. I have been able to get the recipient preview URL using dfsle.SigningService.getRecipientPreviewUrl(docuSignUUID,1) but it can’t be used to complete the document. I have tried using dfsle.SigningService.getSigningUrl(envelope, returnURL ,true) but it alwasy returns a NULL value. Is it possible to achieve what my requirement says? If yes, can someone throw light on what I’m missing or have been doing incorrectly?

Need help in SF with Docusign integration (Not showing field value on docu sign template that i prefilled in apex class using apex toolkit)

Need help in SF with Docusign integration Requirement: Want to prepopulate some custom fields value on template, i have set these custom field values in apex(using apex toolkit) class but i am not seeing these values in pdf. Development approach: I have already installed DocuSign(Docusign Apps Launcher) managed package in salesforce and uploaded DocuSign template(word format) in DocuSign portal. I have set the custom field values in apex code, Receiver is receiving an email with attached doc but he is not seeing custom field values post complete it also. Feel free to ask any doubts/more details. Apex Toolkit : Completed Docs Title is not updated

Hello, I have used the Apex Toolkit to define the writeback of my envelope.The docs are correctly attached to the case and the status on the case is correctly updated.However, the doc title is not updated as specified in the writeback. It retains the original name. I need to add ‘_completed’ to the initial title when it is signed. Anyone encountered this issue or has an idea how to resolve this? DocuSign in Salesforce - combine certificate of completion and document in returned file

We’re using DocuSign in Salesforce. After a document is signed, we get the signed document and certificate of completion as two separate files in the Salesforce record. We’d like this to return as one file--the signed document with the certificate of completion appended to the end. Is that possible? I have the setting Attach certificate of completion to envelope checked, but that isn’t helping.

Salesforce Connect | Connect Object Limit

Hello, I’m using Salesforce Connect to update records in Salesforce once the envelope is completed. I want to select records where there are multiple conditions in OR. I can’t see any option for OR / NOT. All conditions under SELECT WHERE section are applied as AND. Can we create new connect objects for the same Salesforce object with different conditions ? Is there any limit to how many can we create ? Regards, Mehul Shah

DocuSign Apps Launcher - Writeback only after Envelope Status is completed vs. once a recipient signs

Hi, Anyone have any thoughts for ways or workarounds to only allow DocuSign to update Salesforce once an envelope is completed? We are using DocuSign Apps Launcher with Salesforce and using DocuSign envelope templates. The document first goes to recipient 1 who is required to make edits to the doc and sign it. Next it goes to an ‘Approver’ who has the option to approve or reject the document Once the Approver approves the doc, the envelope is considered completed and that is what appears in Salesforce. However, we don’t want Salesforce to be updated until the document is completed in case the first recipient had errors in the doc and now they need to be corrected? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Apex Toolkit -- Modifying Recipient Routing Order

Hello! I’m working on creating an integration using the Apex Toolkit and I’m having an issue with my envelope recipient routing order and sequence order. I’ve noticed that when constructing my envelope recipients with the envelope.withRecipients it automatically assigns my recipients a routing order and sequence number based on their order in the recipient list. I need to be able to assign those values myself so that they can align with a template I’m matching my envelope to. Any suggestions on how I can do this would be greatly appreciated!

Apex Toolkit Send with Docusign View

We are using the apex toolkit in Salesforce to generate documents and then create an envelope. However, once the envelope has been created, we would like to allow the user to view the envelope and make adjustments before actually sending. Is there any way to provide the user with (or redirect the user to) the Send with Docusign view after creating an envelope with the apex toolkit? A screenshot of what I’m talking about is below.

How to preview the envelope before sending it via Flow?

Hi, I have developed a Screen Flow for sending contract documents, utilizing the 'Send With DocuSign' action (apex-dfsle__EnvelopeConfigurationBulkRequest). Below is the screenshot for reference.(2- Flow element) The envelope is sent immediately when the flow reaches this element step. I want to allow the user to preview the template before it's sent. The template's options have been set to 'Place Fields'.(1- Options) However, it behaves as if it's set to 'Send Now' when I send it through Flow. Is it possible to preview the envelope before sending, as if we are sending it using a button in the page layout? Thanks. 1- Options 2- Flow element

Same recipientId assigned to multiple signature tags

Here is my scenario: In Salesforce, I have an Opportunity that can be related to multiple Opportunity Documents (custom object). There are three Opportunity Documents: Non-Disclosure Agreement, Contract, and Onboarding Policy Agreement. We created Gen templates for each of these. Each document may have a different person that needs to sign. For example, Bob may need to sign the Non-Disclosure Agreement and Contract while Alice needs to sign the Onboarding Policy Agreement. As such, we have a "Signer" field captured on Onboarding Document. Lastly, there could be multiple of one document on an Opportunity that needs to be signed. For instance, we may have two copies of a Non-Disclosure Agreement that needs signature for one opportunity. Our thinking is that we could create an LWC that leverages the apex toolkit to allow a user to, at any point, select one or more Opportunity Documents and then click a button called Generate Envelope. Hi Team, I am working on a Salesforce integration using the DocuSign Apex Toolkit, and I need to achieve the following: Send multiple documents (a Visualforce page converted to a PDF and a DocuSign template) as part of a single envelope. After all recipients sign the envelope, combine these documents into a single merged PDF. Here's a brief outline of my current implementation: I generate a PDF from a Visualforce page and store it in Salesforce. I retrieve a pre-configured DocuSign template using its unique ID. I use the dfsle.Envelope class to attach both documents to an envelope and send it for signing using the dfsle.EnvelopeService.sendEnvelopes method. Is data replication possible for envelope fields set up through Apex?

My company uses our DocuSign integration to send varying amounts of documents in each envelope, and we are adding an optional field that needs to be on each page, but will always be the same value throughout the envelope if the recipient does choose to fill it in. I’ve seen that data replication is possible for fields using the API, but haven’t found any references or instructions specifically related to the Apex toolkit. Can the Apex toolkit set multiple fields to replicate the data of any one that is filled in by the recipient?

How to update Merge Fields as Read-Only in DocuSign Using Apex

Hello DocuSign Community, I am currently creating an envelope with multiple merge fields positioned using anchor tags. The client edits these merge fields before completing the document, and the values are then written back to Salesforce. In another process, I want to send this document to another recipient using the Apex Toolkit and a trigger, which works well. However, I need the previously used merge fields to be read-only in this new context. I'm encountering challenges in recognizing these merge fields through anchor tags in Apex and setting them as read-only. DocuSign Signing Session: Template Prefill Fields Not Mapped in Documents When Signing is Launched from Salesforce LWC

When launching a DocuSign signing session from a Salesforce Community site using Lightning Web Components, the signing session initiates correctly as per the guidelines from the DocuSign site with reference of link - https://developers.docusign.com/docs/salesforce/how-to/embedded-sending-signing/. However, I am encountering an issue where the template with prefilled fields is not appearing. I have set up field mapping in the template, but the mappings do not show up on the signing page. How can I achieve this using a Lightning Web Component (LWC) with Apex?

Hi, I am working on setting up an integration with Docusign for Salesforce, the last thing I did was update the token, then I tried to send an envelope and got the error message: The specified Integrator Key was not found or is disabled. Invalid account specified for user” in a demo account. Checked in salesforce that integration key is matching with integration key is matching DocuSign account integration key. Confirmation that Send With DocuSign in a Salesforce flow works

Hi team, I have a Custom button calling screen flow in Salesforce. The flow is setup to “Send with DocuSign” as per below: I have quite extension Screen documentation for errors, and the flow completes successfully: The envelope (related to the ID I’m using above) works when I execute it directly - however, when the flow completes, I don’t get any errors, it completes, but the Envelope is not sent. If I edit the envelope template ID slightly, the flow fails - so I knwo the ID is correct… Similiarly, I know the correct object is being sent through… Is it possible to get any feedback from the APEX action so I can tell if it worked or not. As you can see the flow is designed to create an object to hold all the responses from the docuemnt - but otherwise its pretty straight forward. I can use this object to track a status if one exists!

Docusign with Salesforce Guest user

Hello everyone, We have Salesforce and DocuSign integration, I have a requirement to setup a DocuSign envelope template on custom object and that record is created by a guest user via a form on a cloud experience site.
