We've implemented DocuSign CLM across both the buy-side and sell-side to modernize and unify our agreement lifecycle. Before CLM, contract routing and approval were bottlenecks — especially with high-volume vendor agreements and complex sales deals. By leveraging DocuSign CLM, eSignature, and advanced approval logic, we significantly reduced cycle times, improved compliance tracking, and enabled real-time visibility for Legal, Sales, and Finance teams.

 

The impact has been substantial: faster deal closures, cleaner audit trails, and a far more scalable process. Our next step is exploring DocuSign Maestro to extend orchestration beyond CLM for comprehensive cross-system automation.


I work for a homebuilder on the procurement team.  We are involved in contracting all kinds of vendors for performing all the various tasks required to construct a home.  These trades vary from professional engineering firms that create plot surveys and perform structural inspections to material suppliers that deliver components directly to the build site, or labor trades that do the actual construction work like hanging drywall.  As you can imagine the contracting paperwork required to onboard a new trade can be quite different depending on the type of trade and nature of the work.  Instead of creating contracting template envelopes for every possible trade, I’ve taken advantage of Docusign's integration with Power Automate to create an automated cloud flow that triggers upon submission of a form.  The form asks all the needed questions to determine which paperwork is needed and who the signers should be and from there the Docusign actions in the flow do the rest.  My teammates receive a notification that a new envelope has been created as a draft and needs to be reviewed for submission.  This has saved my team many hours of work, and if any document versions change, it's as simple as replacing the file in the SharePoint library with the current one - no need to completely remake a template file.


Across our operations, we previously relied on wet-ink signatures for legal documents and government correspondence, which made the process slow, manual, and hard to track across multiple stakeholders. After integrating the eMudhra signature type within DocuSign - providing qualified electronic signatures compliant for use in India, we transformed our end-to-end signing workflows. The shift has eliminated the need for physical paperwork and courier delays, while automated notifications and real-time status visibility make each step easy to monitor and manage. Turnaround times have improved substantially, with approvals completed in minutes instead of days, and the tamper-evident audit trail enhances trust, accountability, and compliance.

The combination of DocuSign and eMudhra has reduced errors, streamlined collaboration between teams and external partners, and delivered a secure, user-friendly signing experience that scales effortlessly as our volume grows. Overall, this integration has modernized our documentation process, improved operational efficiency, and ensured we meet stringent regulatory requirements with confidence.

Our Use Case: Streamlining Multilingual Hiring Forms with DocuSign

DocuSign has been instrumental in improving our hiring process. Our company frequently hires individuals whose primary language is Spanish, and we noticed recurring errors when Spanish-speaking employees completed English-only W-4 forms.

To address this, I used DocuSign to merge both the English and Spanish versions of the W-4 form into a single document, along with a language selection page. By setting conditional logic, candidates can now select their preferred language at the start, and only the corresponding form will appear for completion.

This workflow has significantly reduced form inaccuracies, improved the onboarding experience for our Spanish-speaking employees, and saved valuable administrative time during the hiring process.

 


It’s remarkable to create a document where the signer can choose a preferred idiom. Utilizing DocuSign features in this way provides security for the agreement, ensuring effective communication and maximum transparency. I love this idea!
