Hi all,I am setting up document generation template in CLM and am running into an issue where multiple blank pages are included in document generation.My company utilizes a Master Services Agreement (MSA) and Statement of Work (SOW) agreement format. In our document generation, the MSA is always generated, and SOW’s are generated based on user input in the intake form. Each SOW is unique, and is pulled into generation through merge fields throughout the master document. In order to number our documents correctly, we have inserted page breaks and section breaks throughout the document. So, for sake of demonstration, our template generation document has the following format:MSA[conditional select SOW 1]page break - section break[conditional select SOW 2]page break - section break[conditional select SOW 3]page break - section breaketc.The issue I am running into is when a user generates an agreement and

I was wondering if anyone else figured out how to make the assignments “Resolve Comments” to show up in TASKS in Salesforce.  We created an @task assignment by adding comments on the landing page in Document Preview and assigned it as a task.  This generates emails and shows in Tasks in DS CLM but does not show in Salesforce.  Should I be doing something differently?  Most of my users are SF users, so this would be great if it showed there too.  

Does anyone know how to shrink or hide the task panel on the left hand side of Document Preview?  Is this possible from the user’s end?  I know you can hide/shrink the comments/attributes/etc. but I can’t figure out how to shrink/hide the lefthand side of the screen.  Is this a setting or does it not exist?  

I would like to copy a Document Generation Form from our PROD environment to our UAT environment to ensure they are the same.   I see the ability to make a copy of a form, is there a way to export it to .json  like I can for a workflow? or xml? I could not find any information in the DocuSign CLM Support information.

Hi,I’m hoping someone might have come across a solution to the problem I’m trying to solve.I have a document generation form, where one of the fields is a “Custom Table”. The table consists of two columns, with a date fields in the first column and a number field in the second column.When completing the form, you can add multiple rows, so therefore the submitted “Params” XML data for this field contains a “Container” node, with a XML node for each row with a date value and a number value.Within a CLM workflow, I’m trying to map the submitted data for this field to a document attribute. If I map the “Params” XML data’s “Container” node to a variable, it just saves as a raw ‘non’ delimited list of values from all the fields in the table, which is unusable. Can I iterate over the rows in the table’s XML data and save to separate attributes? Or is there another approach?Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks,Josh

I am having difficulty figuring out how to Change the form used in my workflow.  I go to the Document Generation Configuration screen an see the below.  If I click on the link that says NDA / DNA MOU Configuration, it only shows options for the workflow and a template and few other settings, I don’t see the ability to change the Workflow to use a copy of the form such as below NDA MOU FORM_Copy. What am I missing? If I open up a form not attached, it will display This form is not being used by any configurations. Open Configurations to start using this form.,I open up configurations and am in the same spot again...     

I am trying to use the HttpClient step in CLM workflow to upload the Signed document to an external storage but it seems I am able to upload the file successfully with Postman but not able to do so via the HttpClient Step - even following exactly the same steps. It says - the file is not provided - which appears to me that the HttpClient does not support such kind of activity.  What other Options available to upload a signed document to an external website - other than using the Storage(box, google drive, etc) options or Agreement Actions ?

On our DocGen form there is a field called “Requester Address”, and its Merge Tag is <# <Content Select="//Requester_Address" Optional="true"/> #>  (“Original Merge Tag”)I want to change “Requester Address” to “Requester Full Mailing Address” to make it more clear for the user.  When I do this, the merge tag is automatically changed to <# <Content Select="//Requester_Full_Mailing_Address" Optional="true"/> #>  (“New Merge Tag”)Since we already have many Merge Template documents that use the Original Merge Tag, I do not wish to go back to all the Merge Template documents and update them to the New Merge Tag.So I’m thinking that if I just use Edit Merge Tag and change <# <Content Select="//Requester_Full_Mailing_Address" Optional="true"/> #>back to <# <Content Select="//Requester_Address" Optional="true"/> #>then this should not disrupt anything and my M

Has anyone automated exporting reports in CLM? It looks like something you can do in e-sign, but I haven’t figured out how to do it in CLM.

I have quite a few agreements where an amendment will reduce the amount owed.  In the regular Agreement Value Attributes, I can enter a negative number quite easily by putting a “-” before the number that is being reduced.  In the Party Management section, though, in Document Details under Value, it will only let me enter a positive number, it seems.  How do I show that an amendment is reducing the value of the original agreement?

I have a number field currently that accepts all values. I want to add a validation/condition that would restrict the field to only accept positive values (values >= 0) How do I do this?

We want to Schedule Document Reminder for 100 days past current date. I created a Date variable called “ReminderDate” <%#Variable.ReminderDate%> in the workflow, and then used c# code that I found on the help site to calculate # days out past that date.  (For testing I used 1 as the number of days.)var current = DateTime.Today;var daysToAdd = 1;for (var i = 0; i < daysToAdd; i++){if(current.DayOfWeek != DayOfWeek.Friday){current = current.AddDays(1);} else{current = current.AddDays(3);}}return current; However, I am getting an error message:  Couldn't update '1/1/1900 12:00:00 AM': Not a variable, and not an xml variable.  Since this creates the date as 1/1/1900, the Schedule Document Reminder task spits out an error - “Reminder can't be scheduled in the past.”.  Can someone help out on this one?   I tried similarly to calculate an Expiration Date but got the same error, s

Trying to integrate DocuSign CLM with Workday. The intention is integration to create Requisition in Workday. Does CLM connector support Workday Requisition object? Unable to find details on Requisition, available documents are only for Supplier and Supplier Contracts/Amendments. Pls guide me to the Requisition details.  We have a handful of custom validations on Workday Requisition object. Can those custom validations be bypassed during this integration process? Will these custom validations interfere in Requsition creation?

How can I update attributes that are either missing or need to be changed in bulk?I’ve read this article that teaches how to do it as if you’re bringing in bulk documents from another platform, but my documents are already in CLM. They need to have certain (existing) attributes changed or added.

Hi, I wanted to know if it is possible to download a document from an external source using the http client in CLM. I have to download the audit trail from adobe. I have set the headers as Accept: application/pdf. My response is showing 200 but I’m unable to see anything in the output variable. I’ve tried to set output variable as document, custom xml and text. document and xml ones are showing empty and the text one says Action failed with exception, returned: Value of variable output contains invalid unprintable characters.Thanks for your time and help.

Is there a way to add an image to the CLM Doc Gen submission form? Example: We want our project support admin to insert an image of a blue print and we’d like it to appear in the contract as an image (that’s apart of the document, which goes through the approval process, etc.) NOT as a link or as an attachment to the end of the document.  Note: We do not use Salesforce 

Hi, I need to get the current workflow id in a variable. This will be used to create an api link for “Wait for Signal” step.

Hello Everyone, I noticed there is a condition called “Last X days” in the decision step and it is only showing if the variable on the left side is a Date Variable.  Do you have any idea how this works? I tried setting a fixed date on the date variable while adjusting the number on the right side, but this step always goes down the True path. I would appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this. Thank you! 

We have had a few occurrences while we wait for signature, it seems to timeout in 10 days. We have a 'Wait For' action in which errors out with "Timeout occurred waiting for document signature'" I could not find any settings on the action or in the Workflow settings that would suggest timing out in 10 days. Also did some googling and could not find anything...
