It would be extremely helpful if an audit trail was added to the user profile page. This could include any/all information that is found in the Audit logs captured in Monitor or the Admin Audit Log. Currently we have to search a wide range of dates to find changes made to user accounts, if we don’t have an idea of when the change was made. It would be helpful if we could go to the user profile to find this information instead. The more detail the better, or a link to further detail as Monitor’s Event Details provides.
When there are many envelopes sent and a very few in “Delivery failure” status and they need to be corrected, it would be good to be able to filter only those in the list of sent envelopes.
There is no option as of yet for a 24 clock which encompasses seconds. In Canada, when signing for a personal income tax return, Canada Revenue Agency [CRA] requires the 24 hour clock with seconds for their time stamp. As of right now, DocuSign does offer a 24 hour clock, but not with seconds. It only offers a 12 hour clock with seconds. CRA requires, YYYY/MM/DD/HH/MM/SS.
Creating templates in DocuSign is a great experience, especially the flexibility to place fields anywhere on a document. However, it becomes limiting when there is no option to enable horizontal and vertical invisible rulers to help align fields consistently.Adding optional rulers would allow users to: Align fields precisely with document content Maintain consistent spacing across pages Numerically adjust field size (width, height, position is already available in Location as Pixels from Left/ Top, but could be improved) for greater accuracy This enhancement would significantly improve template accuracy, efficiency, and overall user experience, especially for complex or highly formatted documents.Thank you for considering this idea!
I would like to put forward an idea that would save users a lot of time and energy where multiple templates are used where some of the attachments are common.I think when a user identifies a template attachment to replace with a newer version there should a functionality to recognise that same document in other templates and offer the ability to update multiple templates at once. For example, a user have multiple employment contracts (with varying terms) however they all are sent with the employment handbook. A new version of the employment handbook is released. Currently this means opening and replacing the document in each and every template separately, for complex organisations this can be 20 templates and 30 mins of work. My suggestion would require a change in one template and then a decision box as to whether it applies to all other templates containing that document. This could potentially reduce to 3 minute task.I currently have to update 9 compliance documents and one benefits document across 12 templates and so I am looking at half a day carrying out a task that could potentially be reduced to 20 mins.
After a new member is added to a signing group and the envelope is already sent, the new member should automatically become part of the workflow so that the envelope does not need to be “resent” to the new member of the group. This will reduce the need to identify and re-send the envelope for shared envelope administrators. Also a report is needed to easily identify envelopes where this issue occurs so that they can be easily re-sent.
Suggested Feature: User Profile and Preference Portability Across Regional AccountsThere are scenarios where users need to transition from one regional DocuSign account to another—such as when a company expands operations to a new country. While this may not be a major issue for individual users, it becomes significantly more complex and time-consuming when migrating large groups of users.Providing administrators with the ability to manage, download, and upload user profiles and preferences would greatly streamline this process. This feature would ensure a smoother transition, reduce support overhead, and enhance the overall user experience during regional account migrations.
now the common name only has the English Name, hope can add department name in the common name. so the subject can be C=CN, O=FreeLink Hong Kong Limited, OU=Production, CN=Hengfeng Ge.Because some large companies are worried about having duplicate names internally. Need the ability to have folders for web forms similar to how you have folders for templates.
Based on my issue in the link above. UX team need to:- Enable different recipients/contacts to have the same “role” e.g. “Admin”: If this is beyond the possibility of programming capability:- DocuSign needs to build a flag to uses to highlight that you have given a new recipient the same “role” as another recipient e.g. two people noted as “Admin”, and force you to change one of them to a different name e.g. “Admin” and “Admin 2”. The system should not be left with the current behaviour which enables users to set the same role name for multiple recipients which leads to duplicated contacts in the signing chain as docusign overwrites previously inputted contact details. In the image below - When you adding Person 3’s contact details because Person 3 has the same Role “Admin” as Person 2 it chooses to duplicate the new contact you are entering and replaces Person 2 with Person 3 without any warning. You can so easily miss that it has happened.
We have come over from the ‘dark side’ of another well known E signature program. Two of us were able to be logged into the same account at the same time, and thus all our envelopes were sent and returned to ONE PLACE. It was a beautiful single stream of communication. We find Shared Access very choppy and clunky, always having to look up who sent what envelope so one of us can make a change. It would be nice to have the option of being able to share the same account, or all sending and receiving of envelopes to collect in one spot.
We would like to request a feature where the legal disclosure is displayed before the user checks the checkbox that says they agree to it rather than just displaying a link as is the only method currently available.
Idea / ProblemCurrently, Docusign Workflow Builder (formerly Maestro) workflows cannot be initiated directly from within a Docusign Workspace. Users must leave the Workspace context to start or manage workflows, which breaks the end-to-end process and reduces efficiency.Proposed EnhancementEnable users to start a Workflow Builder (formerly Maestro) workflow directly from a Workspace, allowing the Workspace to act as the central process hub where documents, data, and workflows come together.Key Capabilities Launch Workflow Builder (formerly Maestro) workflows from a Workspace Pass Workspace metadata (parties, documents, variables) into the workflow Track workflow status and steps from within the Workspace Maintain full auditability and linkage between Workspace and workflow Support reusable workflow templates Business Value True process orchestration from a single Workspace Reduced context switching for users Better visibility into contract and process status Stronger alignment between Workspaces, Workflow Builder (formerly Maestro), and IAM
It has come to our attention that the external recipients can download the partially signed documents and certificate of completion, before the envelope has completed. Is there any way that this can be avoided? If not can we please raise a feature request to disable this at site level?
