The information in the audit logs is light on information. To make these logs more useful an enhancement to the logs would be great, such as the following in order of importance…
- Source IP. What IP were the changes made from?
- Unique identification of users by GUID or other identifier. Where there’s two accounts with the same name, the audit log just shows the name so which audit logs relates to which of the accounts?
- Browser user agent. An indication of what was used.
