I noticed that when we send a document from our BMS, Applied Epic, after all signatures are completed, the signed documents automatically attach to the client file but the certificate of completion pdf does NOT attach.  We require to retain a copy of that certificate with our signed documents on file and now have to manually download it from DocuSign’s portal.  I could not find a setting to address this.  Can you please advise if this is possible and if so, how do I fix my settings to allow this to happen automatically? Thanks, Stacey

I created a document from a template, filled it out, shared it, only to find that it was shared half-filled out.I tried to correct it, but when hitting “next” after add recipients, it loads a blank screen under “Add Field Data.”When I click “review”, it just says, “something went wrong. Please try again.”I tried clicking on support and it asks me to log in. When I do, it just says, “unable to log in.” Contact support. Ironic.I can log into my account just fine and open documents. I tried clearing cache and cookies. I am using Chrome with no site-interfering extensions.

Hi to all, hope you are well.Can anyone advise. as a DocuSign administrator - i’ve been asked if we have access to envelopes of closed accounts after eg an employee has left our organisation? Is this possible. I have had them share their envelopes with three or four other staff members, however do i have to leave the account open for them to view or can they still view even when I close the account. Thanks in advance.Sacha

This is regarding the create Envelope flow. There is a default settings at individual account level notifying users to match templates when you upload documents to an envelope. Default settings behavior: Automatic template matching compares uploaded files with saved templates. Based on sensitivity settings, you can apply a matching template to your document automatically or with a notification. The template applies recipients, messages, and signing fields. There is a provision to disable this default settings at individual account level. Could anyone please help me know if there's way to disable this default settings for all users at Docusign level.

Hello,I am trying to send out the same document to multiple people for individual signatures. I need to populate the signers name, company name, title within the company, the date signed and obviously the signature. When I set up a template and add those fields and click download the “sample csv” if provides me the desired field columns.  The problem happens when I upload the csv with the data filled out, the only item that populates is the name of the signer. The company text box and the title text box are empty and require the signer to fill it out.  How can I have the data provided in the csv pre-populate the company and title fileds?

How do you disable envelope ID stamping in the document? I have set Envelope id stamping to false, yet it is still not disabled.

We are looking to Downgrade our Business Pro account to the free account prior to the subscription expiry. I know we don’t lose access to documents already held.  However, there is only one account number and 8 users with email addresses. What does the history stay under?

I have created a webform for a requestor to input some vendor information for approval; however, the requestor must attach a document to the beginning form for the next recipients to use for the next steps of approval. However, I am unable to put in an upload field into the Webform. How can I create a fix for the issue? To Review: Webform Requestor would input their information→ Same requestor will upload attachment→ Routed to recipient 2→ Routed to recipient 3.

So lately,  whenever I try to sign a document I get the there was an error communicating with the server messge and I am not abke to sign. Has anyone come across this same issue ? If so what's the solution ? I'm thinking I need to start paying monthly ?

Hi all,I have setup a connection between my DocuSign account and company SharePoint. We use the SharePoint as a contract repository for team members to search and find contracts whenever required.We have always used the SharePoint search function to sift through contracts, identifying specific contracts by searching postcodes, customer names, etc.. This has always worked as intended as our contracts pulled through from Docusign OCR enabled, allowing SharePoint to pick up any text in the document.Since enabling document custom field on our templates (as we look to track key contract metadata), any custom field is no longer OCR enabled, meaning we can’t search for it in SharePoint. This makes locating contracts a much more strenuous, time-consuming task. I cannot work out why text fields that are document custom fields import into SharePoint as un-recognisable text. All the other text in the contract that is not a custom field is searchable, confirming that it is

Hello,We’ve a couple of requirements listed below - To generate a document which needs to have an image embedded on the document. Image is stored inside Salesforce. To generate a document which needs to have an image embedded on the document. Image is the signature of a recipient which has previously signed another document which has similar or almost same information as the new one.I can see that this API - getRecipientSignature | REST API | Docusign - can fetch the user signature. But imageBase64 attribute is not returned in the response. I observed that the signatureType attribute is “rubberStamp” in the response. How to achieve this ? Should I use eSignature API ? If yes, how to get the base64 for recipient’s signature ? Should I use DocGen API ?

I am trying to create a make.com automation where the file is taken from a folder and is send out as a document using docusign module. I have issues with autoplacing text box fields. I have entered anchor string for each of the fields that needs to be filled but ther autoplace text box does not work. All I am able to do is set up positions for signature. I cannot find any resource to do this. Do I need to get a paid account to perform this task?

I have three check box and mapping max and minimum required value, but finally user to select all checkbox. Hi DS friends - Does DocuSign allow me to change the email address of a signer that has already signed a document? We use the custom report feature to receive daily reports of those who have signed our agreements and add it to an Excel workbook database, which has formulas that looks at the email addresses to update each contact. I don’t want to keep having to manually change a particular signer’s email address every time we update the database with the DS report data. Any thoughts? 

I am the admin of the account and we our plan is eSignature Business Pro - but I do not have the Signature Adoption Configuration option to set up the requirement for a “drawn signature”  Can anyone help me about why this option seems to not be available?  If you’re the Admin for your account [i am], go to the Settings page then Signing Settings [i have] and configure the Signature Adoption configuration [i dont have this] , you can enable the option for drawn eSignatures [nope]. After that, your envelopes sent to the recipients with Sign Here fields will give to them an option to drawn a signature [nope].

Some documents are not OCR’d when signatures are completed.  Odobe will not ODC documents post-signatures. If there a setting we can use to ensure documents are OCR enabled before signatures and, is there a process to OCR post-signatures? Our documents are stored in SharePoint and being able to search the document text/content is important for our organization.  Thanks,Mary

I have to sign a contract for the sale of a property. I need it witnessed, I have completed the form and sent with the witnesses details but the Witness has not received a link or email regarding them signing? I have checked the email address is correct.

I am sending a document using a DocuSign template and template ID. I need to include a clickable link, such as a Privacy Policy, in the document. I have added the link in the document, but it is not clickable while the signer is reviewing and signing the document. The link only becomes clickable after the document is signed and completed. How can I make the hyperlink clickable during the signing process itself?

can we create sub accounts under one account for different user in docusign so document uploaded by client of sub accounts client is only visible to them.Basically The challenge is related to managing finalized DocuSign documents for multiple clients. Currently, all completed documents and notifications are sent to the main email address associated with the DocuSign account .The goal is to find a solution that allows you to send these documents to different email addresses, depending on which client or account the documents are associated with. Instead of creating a separate DocuSign account for each client—which could be cumbersome and inefficientThese service accounts would enable you to direct finalized documents to the appropriate email addresses, thereby streamlining the process and enhancing organization without the need for multiple accounts. This approach would allow client to receives their relevant documents directly. 

When the user clicks on the finish button after signing the document, I want to show a pop up message while staying on the page. Is it possible to do? 

I’m currently using a Powerform for exception handling for procurement (users are to complete the powerform if they will be waiving the procurement competitive bid process). Our users are asking if there is a way to included custom wording in each email message when it goes out for signature, specific to the waiver request. It doesn’t appear that can be done, nor can private messages be included to the signatory. Can someone advise of any workarounds or alternatives? 

Hello, I am having issues getting verified based on my passport.  I have tried many different things from clearing cache, to using wifi vs data, using different phones, computer combinations.  Nothing is working.  Here is the history log that I get.  Does anyone have any ideas what else I can suggest the sender to do to make this work?  Thank you.
