Hello,
Just want to ask if it is possible to trigger a workflow when a document is manually uploaded in DocuSign folder? If yes, can you please point me to the right direction on how to do it.
Thanks,
Chris

Hello
Welcome to the DocuSign Community!
You can use Smart Rule to create the “Document Rule” where you can select “Document Added” in events and in filter you select “In Folder” then in Actions select “Start Workflow”. there you go
Thanks!
Thanks Pawan! I was able to implement the Smart Rule.
I have a follow up question.
Is it possible for the Smart Rule to accept parameters?
Thanks,
Chris

What kind of parameters, cloud you please enlighten me?
I have created a Smart Rule to call an existing workflow. The said workflow is part if a big process when a document is submitted from Salesforce and receive data from the intake form.
Since I take away the part where the document is submitted through Salesforce, is it possible to pass data while uploading a document manually in DocuSign using Smart Rule?
Any suggestion is appreciated.
Actually no, Smart Rule is only here kicking off the workflow upon the set action and event. Rest depends on the workflow.
thanks!
Do you have any suggestion regarding the scenario I have provided above?

from my understanding you cannot pass data by just uploading a document manually. if the document have been generated from DocuSign and saved in CLM storage, then we can refer that Document and the Data of that document in CLM workflow.
Thanks
For reference, I ended up creating Intake form with upload document. Then, I pass all the required data to the next workflow.
