Email confirmation of routing an envelope should be sent to the send of the envelopeIdea Submitted

We can see the progress of a document in docusign but it should also be available as an email confirmation to the signer listing everyone who has been mentioned and their role. This is easier to share with the teams and to garner feedback rather having to go back to the docusign site to cut and paste.

Sometimes minor changes need to be made and should be allowed using the correction feature even after it has been signed such as if an acronym was included or the signers job title needed to be updated. Instead of starting the entire process over again, it would be nice to be able ot use the correction feature, make the corrections, send a note to all parties and have the signes click on an agree to the change without having to resign.

Currently, DocuSign does not allow umlauts in email addresses when sending envelopes and does not support this format.However, it is possible to generate email addresses with umlauts, especially in Germany. Therefore, the customer request or idea is to technically support umlauts in email addresses (particularly in German) requires DocuSign to implement this functionality.This idea would be helpful so that more signatories can use DocuSign. All users in Germany and other countries would benefit if the feature were extended to include other country-specific features.

Better Customer Experience for Drawn Only SignaturesIdea Submitted

As a financial institution, we do not want our clients to have access to pre-selected signature styles to sign our documents. Our goal is to have each signature drawn - as you can understand the need to verify closest to real signatures in a financial setting is crucial. I have found that the only way to achieve this is to customize it on the envelope level each time we send. This would be fine, except the signer is then forced to re-draw their signature on every line they need to sign on within the envelope. This is not the customer experience we want. We would like a global account setting that blocks all previsouly set pre-selected signature styles and only requires our signer to create their drawn signature on the first signature field, filling it in for them after that until completion of the envelope. We send out many complex accounts for businesses and need this process as streamlined and compliant as possible.

Hello,I would like to report a graphical issue that appears at the end of the document signing process when the system is configured to allow payment as well.Specifically, on the Stripe payment screen localized in Italian, there is a display issue. I was recently working on an esig template, litterally 2.5 hours in, and received a call. Once the call was completed I noticed I had been logged out of Docusign.I went back into the template and found all of my work had been lost. The only clear way to save a template is to save and exit, thoough I did find a save shortcut key code. The shortcut keycode does not seem to provide any feedback to show that it works so I am now regularly saving and closing the template and then re-entering the template to continue work.Asks:Auto-save templates during work (basic functionality on every other document editor, cloud form platform...) When using the command-S shortcut to save, please add some indicator that the document is/was saved.

Quick Access buttons removed from template designDuplicate

I was directed here so that my complaint could be tracked. Basically, there were quick access buttons (“View” and “X” (or “Delete”)) when working within templates. These buttons were removed during an update and now users are forced to use the drop-down menu. It sounds like a small change, but it significantly impedes workflow. Please bring them back.

Give us the option to delete multiple documents in an envelopeDuplicate

I have always been frustrated that you have to manually click the x on each individual document and then confirm you want to delete it. For some reason you have now added an update that means now you need to click on three dots, then click delete, then confirm it. You don’t even have the x anymore. This is especially frustrating if you rely on templates in an envelope that require you to delete multiple documents. Why isn’t there an ability to select multiple documents at once and delete, or just a one click option? It was already more clicks than it needed and now its even more. Also, im unsure why some days im able to view 4 documents on a row, then you change it to only being able to see 3, or 2. Can you just keep this consistent at 4? If I want to see less I can just make my window smaller.

Bring Back X to Delete DocumentsIdea Submitted

DocuSign recently removed the functionality to delete documents by clicking the X in the top right corner of the document. Now we need to go through and additional step to delete documents by clicking the three dots in the bottom right corner, selecting ‘delete document’ and then confirming that we would like to delete the document. My whole team hates this as we use templates that have placeholder documents that have to be deleted 95% of the time.

Captive recipient/signer not getting notification after routing reset - setting needed to avoid Email Validation requirementIdea Submitted

Problem:In Template/PowerForm flows, the first signer is "captive" by default. When routing is reset back to them, they remain captive and receive no email notification. Enabling "Email Validation" solves this but forces an extra layer of authentication on top of existing 2FA/IDV, creating a poor user experience. Idea to address problem:Provide an account-level or template-level toggle: "Convert to Remote Signer on Routing Reset." This would allow a captive recipient to receive email notifications only if the envelope is routed back to them, without requiring the "Email Validation" step at the start of the session.Business Justification:This allows large departments to maintain high security (IDV/2FA) while ensuring signers are notified of required re-approvals without redundant authentication hurdles.

Previously, when setting up document for signature, the first signatory fields were in blue and the second signatory was in a red/pink color. However last year it changed and now the first signatory is light blue and the second one is light green. They look very similar and are difficult to tell apart without zooming into 400%. Is there any way to change the default colors so that there is greater contrast between the 1st/2nd/3rd signatory? If I cannot change it, then can you please put in a feature request for your developers to change this back to the old color scheme? Color 1 and color 2 should have much higher contrast

We require a recipient’s full legal name for our consent forms. With combined last names becoming more and more prevalent as well as multiple first names existing i.e Mary Ann, the logic behind the first and last name fields are not up-to-date as they only pull the first sequence of names rather than the entire name i.e. Jane Kate Doe will only pull in Jane Doe regardless if you add it into the first or last name fields: First name = Jane Kate or Last Name = Kate Doe. Please implement this as this is the standard and expectation of many legal documents to have the recipient’s full name. Suggesting custom fields to replace the existing name fields is a waste of time and reduces the efficiency expected from using Docusign forms.

I frequently use DocuSign's account-sharing capabilities to allow colleagues to provide support and management of templates, PowerForms, and other business-critical documents that I create and maintain. This shared access is extremely valuable for continuity of operations and cross-training.However, there are certain documents within my account that contain confidential or sensitive information and should remain visible only to the account owner. Examples include annual performance evaluations, payroll-related agreements, compensation documents, and other personnel records.I would like to propose a feature that allows account owners to designate specific folders, templates, PowerForms, or documents as Private, making them inaccessible to users who have been granted shared account access. This could function similarly to folder-level permissions or an exclusion list within the account-sharing settings.Benefits of this enhancement include:Improved protection of sensitive and confidential documents. Greater flexibility when delegating account administration responsibilities. Reduced need to maintain separate DocuSign accounts solely for privacy purposes. Enhanced compliance with organizational privacy and human resources requirements. Increased adoption of account-sharing features by users who currently hesitate due to confidentiality concerns.This enhancement would allow organizations to balance collaboration and business continuity with appropriate access controls for sensitive records.Thank you for considering this feature request.

We have identified an issue where external users are uploading oval company stamps using a square crop format. This results in the left and right edges of the stamp being truncated, leading to incomplete stamp images after upload.
