Problem:
In Template/PowerForm flows, the first signer is "captive" by default. When routing is reset back to them, they remain captive and receive no email notification. Enabling "Email Validation" solves this but forces an extra layer of authentication on top of existing 2FA/IDV, creating a poor user experience.
Idea to address problem:
Provide an account-level or template-level toggle: "Convert to Remote Signer on Routing Reset." This would allow a captive recipient to receive email notifications only if the envelope is routed back to them, without requiring the "Email Validation" step at the start of the session.
Business Justification:
This allows large departments to maintain high security (IDV/2FA) while ensuring signers are notified of required re-approvals without redundant authentication hurdles.
