Custom Document Fields

Hi all, I am have been asked to create a Docusign Integration from NetSuite and I have some requirements which I am not sure are possible. I am hoping someone will be able to help with this! For my understanding are Tabs and Custom Document Fields the same? Is it possible to create Custom Document Fields via the API?Is it possible to place them on the Document before it is sent to Docusign?Is it possible to retrieve the populated Custom Document Field Values that have been filled out by the client via the API? Filling out tabs with Witness details

Hi, I am creating an envelope with the eSignature API and this includes witnesses. I am added signature and text tabs to the witness recipients. The signer is adding the witness name and email when signing, and then the witness will enter their address when signing. I want the Witness name and address to appear where the text tabs are in the document when they enter their details or sign. However this is not working. I’m assuming becuase I havent at any point associated the tabs with this data. Is there are way of doing this at the point of envelope creation? I am trying to reduce the amount of admin work done by my team before they send the envelope. Thanks

Can we download the DocuSign Documents everything when the recipient is signed?

I have scenario and I need to automate the process. Assume I have an envelope named checklist and has three signer with the signing order 1,2,3. Each time when the signer is signed I need to download the document in my local machine. For example if signer 1 is signed the document from the checklist envelop should be saved in my local as checklist_v1 and if signer 2 is signed the document from the checklist envelop should be saved in my local as checklist_v1 and so on. I tried the flow with Power automate, we can only download the document only the entire envelope is completed. In this case all 3 signer has to sign then only we can get the document. Is there option that we can get it for each signer in power automate? I am also happy to use DocuSign Signature Rest API to automate this process. Thanks, Nirmal.

How do I set up the frequency of the reminder for the envelope that is created using import document instead of existing templates.

If we are creating an new envelope manually by adding documents we will enable the frequency of reminders using advanced options in DocuSign and send the envelope to the recipient. The below image shows how to enable the frequency of reminders for the envelope. Is there any way can we automate the process using power automate or DocuSign Signature Rest API call? The flow should be: Create an envelope Add the Documents Add all the recipients Enable the frequency of reminders for 7 days. Send to the recipients Note: I don't want to create a template or use the existing template from DocuSign. For every envelope it should be new documents added. Thanks, Nirmal.

ListStatusChanges is returning only 1000 envelopes result set as of 2/9/2024.

ListStatusChanges is returning only 1000 envelopes result set as of 2/9/2024. I'm trying to set the Count and Start_position, but so far only getting 1000 envelopes. This has been working for over 2 years. Has something changed? Is setting the count and start_position a new work-around? Thanks.

sending envelope from a template with dynamically populating fields in a template document

hi, I am trying to send envelope from a template with dynamically populating fields in template document through rest API in PHP but I face a problem. I add a recipient in a template of an envelope and also I provide other recipient information in "templateRoles" in the request from the API and also I add "tabLabel" and "value" for the custom tab fields. Now after sending envelope when I check document which is to be signed in the email of both recipients then i found that recipients that added in the template from my docusign web account got the document with only basic fields (name, email, date signed and sign) and custom field values to be empty text box (no value) and when I check for the recipient that I provide through api got document with basic fields values in left sidebar which has to be manually placed in document and no custom field in sidebar and no custom field values means nothing is populate on documnet only basic fields values set in left sidebar. Tabs Questions

How can we send the tabs information to DocuSign? I have already sent the api details and document changes in my previous email? How can we set the reminders for DocuSign document through API? We have a producer signature in our pdf after the applicant and co applicant sign the documents is there any way DocuSign can set the producer signature in the pdf document?

Can we integrate the DocuSign process into a Mail Merge process? This way I can use my list to send to thousands of clients via mail merge with DocuSign process only on the interior

Trying to make this easier for our organization and utilize Mail Merge functionality to send it to a list of client contacts who would then each be the initial signee (or forward to the right signee). Dont' want to have to manually type in a different initial signee each time, which is how this appears to work.

DocuSign API Supress email notifcation for embedded signing experience

Hello All, I have a question on restricting email notification on the below scenario, can you please help on this Scenario, 1) We create an envelope from an internal application using REST API 2) We are not adding this entry "<embeddedRecipientStartURL>SIGN_AT_DOCUSIGN</embeddedRecipientStartURL>" for selected recipients. Because we would like to give user same experience for electronic signature or hard copy signature process. So user can have a embedded DocuSign signing link in an internal application but not standard DocuSign email notification for signing. 3) After completing the step, user is receving an email notification from DocuSign like below Email Subject : Signed: Please Sign: Your Northern Trust New Account Documents Thank you for signing your documents. If you did not DocuSign with {recipient name}, please contact support. I understand above notification is for security purpose, we receive every status update from DocuSign and feed internal application. So in case some on

Pulling documents in from LaserApp to DocuSign Templates

I see that you can use the "Get From Cloud" function to create templates. Is it possible to have LaserApp linked up as a "Cloud", so that we can pull our documents from LaserApp into DocuSign?
