My idea comes from a problem I have with the reporting. Currently, we use DocuSign’s “Bulk Send” process to send documents internally that contain individualized details to each sales rep (ex: Employee ID, Bonus Target, etc.). We also currently track who has / has not approved their envelopes using DocuSign’s reporting. My issue is that I want to expand off the current reporting options to include the individualized details that we uploaded via the bulk send process.
+1The reason this is so important is as people get promoted their Target increases. When their target increases we send them a new plan. From a reporting standpoint, I want to be able to easily identify which plan was signed and when. The best data point for me to use in my reporting is Target (as the rest of the data points remain the same). I understand I can see the dates they were sent, but that data point does not allow me to use excel formulas and what not. Everything would be easier if the reporting allowed us to include the bulk send upload details and that way I could refer to the target I uploaded as a primary data point.

After reviewing it, we found that DocuSign already has a feature that can pull the information you’re looking for.
You can use Form Data to view or download envelope metadata, including the pre‑populated values you entered as the sender in the CSV during bulk sending. You can also set up an Agreement Action for future envelopes to filter by the templates used in bulk sending, so the values can be automatically saved to a spreadsheet.
There are also paid add-ons like Retrieve or the API that can pull this data depending on what you need.
