In order to run some preliminary tests with this new API, I would like to know more about which tools I can expect to be able to currently use it with.

At this time, our only tool that supports using the Navigator API is our Postman collection. You can find it together with all our other collections in https://www.postman.com/docusign/ (Note: before you can run API calls for Navigator API, your account must be enabled to join the beta program).
