We are using a webform to collect data that is then being transferred to another system. The key is getting the CSV download so that we are not retyping the data. The volume of transactions requires that we look at transactions daily. When we ‘download’ at the template level, we get everything, and then have to filter down to the ‘new transactions’. The most efficient would be to schedule a report, but when I look at the webform data report, it does not allow scheduling, and it doesn’t give the date granularity I need- preferable I would want a daily report that says show me yesterday. Any thoughts on how to make this a usable, efficient process?
Hi
Thanks for posting your question — we're glad you're here, and happy to share knowledge with you.
We recommend two approaches:
- First option is to utilize "Custom" filter and enter "yesterday's" date in the From and To fields:

- Next option is to set up Agreement Actions to have the data added to a CSV in real time, then each day you could just wipe out the spreadsheet after you have retrieved the relevant data
Create and Manage Agreement Rules. However, please note, that to configure an Agreement Action for envelopes generated via Web Forms, you cannot use Template as a rule condition. (This is because Web Forms manages its own "protected" esign template copies that are not available outside of Web Forms). Instead, you should use an alternative rule condition, such as:
- The Sender associated with the web form
- An Envelope Custom Field configured on the esign template associated with the web form
- A Document Custom Field, which you could add as a read-only field on the esign template with a default value to filter on. If using a Document Custom Field that is assigned to the primary recipient/form-filler, you should remove it from the web form configuration altogether, so that its value can’t be overridden during form-filling
While there was an internal enhancement request for Schedule Webform Data report when I checked, you can still submit this as an Idea in our Ideas portal
