We would like to create a template form to incorporate a customer qualification process and use DocuSign for signing off on each stage of the process. How we can structure the signing off process through DocuSign, and specifically how can we enable parties to sign off on their respective parts of the workflow?

When you create your template, you can check the box to enforce a signing order. The signing cascades from one recipient to the next. You can even put the same person in multiple times in multiple signing positions.
