Have you tried to set up a conditional field with the Radio button? How do I set a conditional field based on the response to one or more radio button groups?
Conditional fields allow you to create dynamic documents that show specific fields to the recipient based on certain conditions being met, such as selecting a checkbox or dropdown option. You can create multiple rules for a trigger field, allowing you to specify different scenarios for your document. Conditional Fields

Hi,
I have a similar issue as the original poster.
The suggestion doesn’t apply. In OPs issue they have an existing conditional field that when selected shows 3 “new” text fields of which at least one needs to be filled. The instructions are just to setup conditional logic which OP already has done.
Their situation is the same as mine. I have three text fields in which at least one (in my case one and only one) needs to be filled.
Essentially the ask is: Is it possible to group (text) fields such that the “group” is required to have an entry not the individual fields, ie I can have a form with 10 text fields and as long as any of the text fields is filled, the document can be complete, but if none of the fields is complete signing cannot move forward.
I know an alternative is to create a radio button for each field, make that radio group required. Then make all the text fields required, but set conditional logic to show each text field when the corresponding radio button is selected. The problem is this is a) unwieldy and time consuming to setup and b) it’s one to one, meaning if you want the ability to fill out multiple fields you can’t.
Hello @Sunistics,
I hope you’re doing well. I appreciate your reply to this community post.
Currently, Docusign does not support grouping multiple text fields so that only one out of the group must be filled to proceed; each field can only be set as required or optional individually.
Due to this limitation, I would like to invite you to share this as a product suggestion/feature request on our dedicated ideas page ( https://community.docusign.com/ideas) where we can collaborate to shape the future of our product together.

FYI I am looking for a solution for this, as well. I was brought to this thread by search engine query.
The radio button labels suggested in this thread is a workaround at best, and is not applicable in my use case.
Hello @RonB,
Thank you for sharing your experience.
We love hearing how Docusign could be even more useful. While grouping multiple text fields isn’t available at the moment, the best place to share this kind of idea is on our Ideas board: Submit a feature request
That’s where ideas from Docusign users like you can submit ideas to improve Docusign’s features, and where you can also vote on ideas from other members.
We appreciate your input and hope you’ll keep the ideas coming.
