I have a document here signed with docusign, it has a Docusign Envelope ID sequence. How can I validate this Docusign Envelope ID to make sure the sign is real?

To validate a DocuSign Envelope ID and ensure the document is legitimately signed, you can do the following:

Access the Certificate of Completion COC – Each DocuSign-signed document includes a Certificate of Completion that contains the Envelope ID, signing history, and tamper-evident seal. This certificate is typically attached as the last page of the completed document.

Log in to DocuSign – If you have access to the account that sent or received the envelope, you can log in and search for the Envelope ID to view its full history and status.

All I have is the Envelope ID of the signer in the PDF file. Is there a link I can check by type the envelope id?
Unfortunately, DocuSign doesn’t provide a public-facing link or portal where you can directly enter an Envelope ID to validate it.
If you only have the Envelope ID and not access to the DocuSign account that sent or received the envelope, your best option is to reach out to the sender or the organization that initiated the signing process. They can log into their DocuSign account and verify the envelope details for you.
Alternatively, if the Certificate of Completion is attached to the PDF, it should include all the necessary audit trail information to confirm the document’s authenticity.
