Receiving copy of signed document via fax

To fax your documents as the return method, follow these instructions.

Note: If you already downloaded the documents but quit during a previous Print & Sign session before returning your documents, you must download the documents again and sign using these instructions.

1. Select Fax and select CONTINUE.

   

2. Select DOWNLOAD to download the fax cover page and your documents.
3. After downloading the fax cover page and your documents, select FINISH to exit the signing process.
4. Print the fax cover page and documents using your normal printing method.
5. Complete and sign the printed pages as needed.
6. Follow the instructions on the printed fax cover page to fax the documents to Docusign.

   Note: When faxing your documents, make sure to send the Docusign fax cover page first. The fax cover page has information that links your documents to the envelope. Your documents might be lost if the cover sheet is not the first page.

    

7. When Docusign receives the fax, your documents are matched with the sender’s original request to complete the process.

   Note: You can optionally upload the documents or sign them electronically. If you sign electronically, you can return to the document using the link in the original email that was sent to you. After you open the document, select CANCEL FAX to cancel the fax process. Then follow the instructions for uploading your documents.

You have successfully completed signing your documents.

When all the signers have completed signing, you receive an email confirming this and giving you have the option to download a PDF copy of the completed documents.
