Thank you for highlighting the importance of Docusign certifications!

As a proud Docusign partner, we’ve actively participated in the certification exams. During our preparation, we carefully reviewed the documentation listed in the exam outlines and tested the features ourselves to deeply understand their capabilities and limitations. This process ensures that we’re well-equipped to provide best practice guidance to customers and help them avoid common pitfalls.

I’ve personally passed the Docusign Certified eSignature Administrator certificate, and our team is honored to be the only DocuSign partner globally with two Certified eSignature Technical Consultants. We’ve found that these certifications not only increase customer confidence, but also serve as a reflection of Docusign’s commitment to excellence.

I also noticed that several Docusign Lead Consultants have passed the Docusign eSignature Technical Consultant certificate. This is a fantastic example for the broader ecosystem. Since they often serve large enterprises and complex scenarios, I’d even suggest making this certification a requirement for Docusign’s own consultants. It’s not just about credibility — it demonstrates Docusign’s accountability and dedication to customer success.

In the same spirit, I believe Customer Support team members should be encouraged to pursue the Administrator Certification, and Developer Support staff should aim for the Docusign eSignature Technical Consultant Certification. We’ve unfortunately encountered a few support cases where responses fell short of what would be expected from a “Senior” title. Continued learning and product understanding are not optional — they are core responsibilities.

As a reference, Okta requires all internal support engineers to pass the Administrator certification within three months. You can see many Okta certified professionals and administrator on Credly. When internal teams lead by example, it inspires confidence and participation from both customers and partners.

Looking forward to seeing more of the Docusign team proudly earning these badges — it truly benefits the entire community.

Hi @awarbhe - Enrollment in Docusign University (DSU) coursework necessitates Docusign customer status. Nevertheless, a selection of DSU resources, such as videos, template samples, and best-practice guides, are publicly accessible.

Docusign customers with a DSU Campus Pass subscription benefit from unlimited and exclusive access to a more comprehensive suite of learning and enablement materials. Conversely, Docusign customers without a Campus Pass retain access to all self-paced courses, live webinars, and learning plans. Certifications can be pursued without a Campus Pass, although paid courses are advised to optimize success in obtaining certification.
