The system is using a generated signature and not the custom signature I uploaded.

Ok I think I figured out the reason and it is due to your DocuSign Account settings. If you are a DocuSign Admin on your account you could change this but if not you would need to talk to a DocuSign Admin, In the Admin console, under Signing Settings, there is a link called "Signature Adoption Settngs", when clicked you get Account choices for the Signatures that you can select from during signing. One of those options is called "Disable draw signature". So if enabled you as a DocuSign User in that Account could not see the option for Drawn Signatures. Please see if this is something that can be disabled, then try again.

Have you checked your DocuSign Account to see what your default Signature is set as?? By default I mean the Signature that is the first Signature showing in the Signature list. So if I have more than one Signature setup I believe it takes the first one and uses that as a "default". So you could remove all Signatures then create them in an order making your drawn signature the first Signature,

To see your current Signatures, login to DocuSign, go to Profile Pic and then Preferences, then Signatures on the left.

I saw what occurred and that I did wrong. I did too quick a mouse click and didn't select the custom signature for the document that was sent to me. Based on what I read, once you've selected a signature for a particular document you can't change it. So I downloaded the original to PDF, uploaded it again and signed with the correct signature I wanted, outside of the workflow.

Thanks for you quick response.

If you have completed the process (Finish), you are correct that you cannot change the Signature. If you open a document and click the Signature button, I believe you can click the Signature tag again to Clear or Change Signature. I know it is typically limited to individuals with a DocuSign Account. Maybe something to check next time you sign, to see if you can clear or change prior to Finishing.

Strange but I'm not getting that option. I just get the sign and continue buttons. I have a full account.

Ok I saw that and tried to change it but I still did not get to select my custom signature that I had uploaded. Here's a screenshot showing how I do have it saved.

I tried deleting and adopting a new signature and this is what I am presented with, none of which are my custom one:
