+1Can anybody tell me why this doesn’t work?
I have configured the below in the Envelope Template within Salesforce. We use Microsoft Word documents to create the Gen Templates.
I’ve set the PO Number text box to ‘required’ so that if the picklist is ‘Yes’ then the PO Number should be visible and is mandatory for the signatory to populate.

The issue has been resolved with Docusign support - I had to use template matching.
