Our use case involves allowing users to provide specific instructions to signers using rich text formatting, such as bulleted lists, bold text, and highlighting. Currently, the Email Message field in the eSignature API does not support rich text formatting, which limits our ability to convey clear, well-structured instructions.
I would like to request a feature enhancement that enables rich text formatting in the Email Message field when sending an envelope via the eSignature API.
While we understand that HTML code can be pasted into the Email Message field, we have encountered two key challenges with this approach:
- The Email Message field has a 10,000-character limit, which is insufficient for larger messages that require extensive formatting.
- Editing an HTML-based message in the Admin Console is challenging unless the user is familiar with HTML, making it difficult to make quick modifications in a user-friendly way.
Enhancing this feature would significantly improve the user experience by making message formatting more intuitive and eliminating the need for manual HTML adjustments.
