Currently, when using the Recipient Activity Report, the formatting when downloading to Excel is not correct.
When it opens in excel, it get automatically formatting in HH:MM:SS instead of DD:HH:MM as stated in the report on docusign, to get around this I have listed the step I have used to have it format correctly and display actionable information for use making graphs etc.
- Place ‘ (Apostrophe) before the time in excel - E.G. '01:09:18
- In the next cell over, Copy this equation to extra the data from the cell holding the docusing data
=INT(LEFT(G2, FIND(":", G2) - 1) * 24 + MID(G2, FIND(":", G2) + 1, FIND(":", G2, FIND(":", G2) + 1) - FIND(":", G2) - 1)) & " hours " & MID(G2, FIND(":", G2, FIND(":", G2) + 1) + 1, 2) & " minutes"
- in the cell over from this again, place the below equation. This will then turn the information into total minutes, which can be used to calculate total minutes/ average time for a task to pass through multiple signees et.
=LEFT(H2, FIND(" hours", H2) - 1) * 60 + MID(H2, FIND(" hours", H2) + 7, FIND(" minutes", H2) - FIND(" hours", H2) - 7)
- I use this info to make this back into the format Docusign said it would be formatted in DD:HH:MM using th equation listed below
=INT(I3/1440) & " days " & TEXT(INT(MOD(I3, 1440)/60), "00") & " hours " & TEXT(MOD(I3, 60), "00") & " minutes"
Using all the info from these equations I personally create average time for a document to pass through multiple signees
