In a company / organization there are often employee like assistance or secretaries or specialists (and so on) who have the task to create and manage the envelopes. But these employees don’t have the permission to sign documents.

Today there are three standard user permission profils defined by docusign: DS Viewer, DS Sender and DS Admin. All profiles, also the "lowest" or "smallest" profile ‘DS Viewer’ contain the permission to sign documents. So, in my knowledge there is no way to create a permission profile that cover the organizational rights of these user groups.

I would like to have or to create a permission profile that allows an user to create and send an envelope, but not allows to sign a document.

Thanks for sharing this idea with us, @CorneliusReuter. We’ve reviewed it and appreciate the thought behind it. At this time, we’re not planning to pursue this request, so we’ve marked it as parked. While it’s not on our current roadmap, ideas like yours help inform future direction if priorities change.
Thanks again for contributing your input.
