Need space for notes/comments on pending envelopes

​@Jenny.Martin - the feature you advised re “Use Comments To Ask and Answer Questions About a Document ?” is not the desired additional feature. This feature is initiated by the receiver.  I too would like the same as ​@MGC - the ability as the Sender of an envelope to add a Note to it so that myself and others on my team who I share my DocuSign with can see these.

The sender can initiate or apply comments to the envelope. When correcting an envelope, the sender can view existing comments and add new comments as needed.

I’m not sure that’s quite what people are looking for. While adding comments to the documents in the envelope can be useful - it doesn’t seem to fill the need of making a note on the envelope itself. For example, if, as @mgc mentioned, there is a signer who you (the sender) knows is waiting to sign for awhile. You (the sender) could leave a note for yourself (ie John will sign when he’s back from vacation) so that you don’t keep sending reminders to sign.

This sort of “note” would need to be visible OUTSIDE the envelope (as a column in the “waiting for others” list, perhaps) - so that you don’t need to open every envelope to see if you’ve left a note.
