In certain operational contexts, it is common for a single user to have multiple accounts linked to the same corporate email address. This setup is often necessary to maintain separate environments for regulatory compliance, such as when DocuSign Part 11 is activated to meet industry-specific standards.

To avoid confusion and ensure proper routing of envelopes, we suggest implementing a tagging mechanism that allows each envelope to be explicitly associated with the correct account. This tag could be visible during the sending and receiving process and include a reference to the intended account (e.g., #AccountPart11, #AccountStandard), which would help:

  • Ensure envelopes are assigned to the appropriate operational context.
  • Improve traceability in regulated environments.
  • Reduce the risk of errors in sending or signing documents.

This solution would be especially beneficial for users operating in dual-mode, managing both standard and regulated workflows, and would enhance both efficiency and compliance in document handling
