Description:
When building approval requests in DocuSign eSignature, the system conveniently remembers previously entered email addresses for approvers. However, it does not retain their mobile numbers, even if those were used for SMS authentication in prior envelopes.
This results in repetitive manual effort:
- I must re-enter mobile numbers each time.
- Or navigate to My Preferences → Contacts, locate the auto-created contact, and manually edit it to add the mobile number.
Business Impact:
This behavior is inefficient and affects productivity, especially for frequent approvers across multiple workflows. It also increases the risk of errors in high-volume approval processes.
Request:
Please enhance the contact management feature so that:
- Mobile numbers used for SMS authentication are automatically saved alongside email addresses.
- These numbers are pre-filled when the same approver is added to future envelopes.
