Ability to control the color scheme

It would be great if the user was able to control the color scheme - especially the tags when designating signers. The pastel colors are nice… but they are not as easy to differentiate as the bolder colors they replaced. Also the ‘pink and blue’ scheme is not very professional.

thank you,

I agree the pastel blue and pink colors for the fields are unprofessional especially since the first two fields that are, typically, joint signers on a DocuSign packet.  Even though the signers do not see these colors, it makes DocuSign appear that they are assuming a male (blue) is signing first and a female (pink) would be signing second, which is not a good look. Please change!

Great idea -- in fact, I started a support case a few days ago on this very subject.  Unfortunately, there was nothing the service rep could do.

My issue is I’m color-blind.  I could deal with the bolder colors, but the pastel colors give me a lot of problems.  It’s even worse when you have conditional fields and the fields are displayed more transparently.

Please DocuSign -- give us the ability to use the bolder color scheme if that’s what we want.  Thanks!

I tried submitting a case but was told the new colors are by default. We, especially for those paying a sub fee should have the ability to choose colors. Pink and baby blue aren’t typical colors to do business with.
Docusign please give us back the colors from before, or allow us to choose different colors.

The new colors are unprofessional and do not look legitimate - causing signatories to question it. Extremely unprofessional! I use DS for formal signatures - this looks trashy.

I believe I read somewhere else that the signatories don’t see the colors. Which is good, if true. I’d be embarrassed to send a DocuSign to our clients showing those pastel colors. Were I a signatory receiving anything with these pastel icons, I’d think twice about the legitimacy of the company.

thanks

If it’s true that the signers don’t see the pastel colors then fine, I can deal with the colors as I draft the docs. I still rather not like buying a pair of shoes and you don’t like the colorways, probably wouldn’t buy them. Thank you

Yes -- some of the posts were getting me confused.  My issue with the colors is when I’m creating a new template in the online Template Editor.  The fields I drag onto the document went from bold colors about a year ago to these pastels.  It appears some folks posting here are saying the recipients of the envelope are seeing these colors.  I’ll have to double check, but during my testing all the recipients see black/grayish boxes where they need to enter information and the signature/initial boxes are bright blue.  I’m also seeing the same thing when previewing the document in the Template Editor.  I don’t believe recipients see these pastel colors we see during design time.

If they do, it’s because the sender hasn’t setup the envelope properly.  I think this happens when you send the envelope to a recipient who has been defined in a role, but there aren’t any fields on the document to be completed by that role.  The recipient is presented with the document in “design mode” and is expected to drag his own fields onto the document.

Thanks!

@RMB :

I think you are correct - I can’t really say for sure since I only send things out. But regardless of who is seeing the tags, the pastel colors don’t seem to be a hit for some people. I’d still like to be able to choose my own colors so that they are more distinct.

thanks
