You may have seen that some replies in the Community are marked as a Best Answer. But what does that mean, and how can you write one?
What is a Best Answer and why does it matter?
A Best Answer is a reply that directly addresses the original question with clear, helpful information. It can be selected by the person who asked the question or by any other Community member. When a response is marked as Best Answer, it gets pinned to the top so others can quickly find the solution.
Tips for writing a great Best Answer
Here’s how to make your answers as helpful and impactful as possible:
Be clear and focused
Break your answer into simple steps or key points. Use paragraphs, bullet points, or bold formatting to make it easy to skim.
Share your experience
If you’ve solved a similar issue, let others know how you approached it. Your real-world experience adds credibility and relatability.
Ask clarifying questions (when needed)
If the original post is vague, it’s okay to ask for more details before offering a solution. This shows thoughtfulness and helps build connections in the Community.
Visuals are welcome
If a screenshot or short explanation video helps clarify your answer, include it!
Stay positive and encouraging
We’re all here to learn. Kindness and patience go a long way, especially for users who are newer to Docusign or just trying something new.
Add links to official resources when relevant
