This is a Yahoo issue, not DocuSign.
At my company, we have seen this situation where DocuSign gets flagged as a spammer by Yahoo and the messages get quarantined by Yahoo. I have not confirmed it, but we found that if Yahoo receives over a certain number of messages, their automated system kicks in and holds onto the email for a few hours.
If you go into your Sent folder and click into the envelope, look for the More button, and then click on History. That will show you that DocuSign transmitted the email and Yahoo received it.
Hello @Realtorgirl,
I trust all is well. I want to confirm if you need further assistance, feel free to let me know and I will gladly help you address the situation as soon as possible. Thank you!

I’m experiencing the same problems as of late. I have multiple businesses with Yahoo emails and both are not receiving the envelopes.
As Docusign Partner we Always confirm whether the email is arrived at customer's mail server by open case with support team. if the mail is arrived, but the end user told not received, the end user should find the mail server provider to check why it is blocked and let they add the sender in the whitelist.

UPDATE: The email arrived however it took 10 hours. The yahoo email is mine. I was the last to sign a lease agreement. No other emails are this delayed. This happened the last time I sent an envelope for signatures as well. What could be the reason for a 10 hour delay. Would be happy to send a test envelope if you want to check further.
The problem is still here. Yahoo email addresses do not receive the envelopes. Not even to a Spam folder. Almost lost a client because of it.
Hi there @thai0911 @irentalv,
Thanks for the follow-up. Upon further checking, we’ve confirmed the issue, and our engineering team is actively working under ticket NOTIFY-4050. We know bugs can be frustrating, and we apologize for the hassle.
It appears to be related to how Yahoo handles and filters incoming emails. DocuSign is continuously working to ensure messages are delivered as intended, though occasional filtering behaviors outside our system can affect delivery.
Yahoo uses verification methods that sometimes block DocuSign emails, treating them as spam due to the large volume of messages sent from the same DocuSign domains. We regularly reach out to market blacklists and email providers to request that our domains be unblocked, but these appeals are not always accepted or acted upon quickly. As a workaround, we always recommend that Yahoo recipients include our domains in their whitelists or use an alternative email address if possible.
I shared this post with the Engineers, but if you would like to receive updates about the ticket, we recommend to Open a case in the Docusign Support Center referencing the ticket number.
We appreciate your continued feedback, and please know we’re actively working to improve the overall experience wherever we can.

Eventually the emails from DocuSign arrive to yahoo inbox, but only after 10-12 hours. Looking at the email headers and not sure where is the problem, at DocuSign or Yahoo, but it is unacceptable, and we are already looking at different solution as this is hurting the business.
Hello @irentalv,
I completely understand the frustration, and we sincerely apologize. @Drewcifer has a very detailed and helpful explanation above. We have seen that Yahoo's automated system may delay emails after a certain volume. Unfortunately, the issue is with Yahoo.

@Melanie.Panguito I sent a packet to be signed to 2 yahoo emails at 3pm and again at 9:49pm yesterday and it’s now 9:47am the next day….still no packet to sign. This is very frustrating when documents are time sensitive.
I am STILL having trouble with yahoo email addresses receiving documents. I may need to find a different company and cancel my service with DocuSign. I work in an industry where the documents need signed on the spot at the end of the meeting. I have had to send the partially signed documents to another participant to ask them to send it to the person with the yahoo email address. It is beyond frustrating. Not everyone has that ability and not everyone has another email address as back up. This was not a problem when I started using DocuSign over 4 years ago. This just started in the last 2-3 months for me.
Hi @thai0911 @ALT,
I trust all is well. Thanks for reaching out! There were reports of Yahoo blocking DocuSign emails. We are aware of the issue and are currently taking steps with the 3rd party provider. Do you have sample envelope IDs you can send me via private message?
