Hi,

I need to send a document for 15 people to sign separately. I tried Bulk Sending with a Template, but everyone signed the same document. I need to have a workflow that sends the document to 15 people but then they send back an individual document signed by each individual. Is this possible? Thank you!

If your template includes multiple roles, DocuSign will expect multiple people to sign the same envelope. That’s not what you want. Instead, you want 15 copies (envelopes), each with only one signer.

Add just one Recipient Role—for example, “Signer1.”

Yes, it’s definitely possible to send a separate, identical document to multiple recipients so that each person signs their own copy (i.e., 15 individual envelopes instead of a single shared envelope).

What often goes wrong is that you end up putting all 15 signers into the same envelope by mistake. With Bulk Send, DocuSign can generate 15 separate envelopes, each with one signer, rather than one envelope with 15 recipients.

Thank you! Am I missing a button for separate envelopes? I followed these steps and it bulked to one document for all signees.

  • Go to the Agreements Tab
  • Start
  • Envelopes
  • Use a Template
  • Select Template
  • Add Selected
  • Add Documents (if necessary)
  • Under Recipients, click on “Bulk Send”
  • Upload the CSV file
  • Save
  • Next
  • Add Standard Fields
  • Send
