In this Picture you can see my text is getting extended over the desired text area.

I am already using Fixed Width Property.

We're sorry to hear that text within the envelope you sent is extending beyond the intended area, despite the fixed width being applied. 

I have attempted to reproduce the issue you described, but have been unable to do so. In my testing, the Fixed Width option successfully enforced a multi-line text box that wrapped content rather than allowing it to extend horizontally. Please see screenshots below of my testing:

To further investigate:

  • May you please navigate to your Sent folder, locate the specific envelope in question, and create a copy of it. Confirm if the Fixed Width option is enabled on that field. This will allow us to see the exact configuration of the envelope as it was sent.
  • Additionally, please confirm if there are any other fields within the envelope that share an identical data label with the field experiencing the extension issue

The thing is, it normally works, but when I try to open that document from my email, the text field ignores the width property.


Hey ​@prajjwal.mishra Thank you for getting back to me. Is the issue specific to only this particular document? When you get the envelope id of that document you’re pulling up from your email and search that envelope id directly within your Docusign agreements, do you observe the same issue? If yes, may you please follow the steps I previously shared, just to review the exact configuration of the envelope as it was originally sent. Thank you!
