Hello -

I used to be able to upload a pdf to an envelope and then apply a template or upon the upload it would automatically have a pop-up box appear asking if that was the template I wanted to use.  Now I don’t get the automatic template application and if I apply a template some fields don’t appear and others it seems are huge because the file is loading smaller than normal?  I’m perplexed.

I no longer get the emails from DocuSign when my powerform has been completed either.

Apologies for the challenges faced with Template Matching and email notification issues. We're here to help you navigate these challenges and get back to your important tasks.

A few key areas to check for Template Matching:

  • First, review your Preferences and set Template Matching sensitivity 50% or lower. The lower, the better for your case. 
  • Second, ensure that the "Notify me of matching templates" is selected so that upon uploading files with matches, you are presented with a dialog box to select templates for each file. For a comprehensive guide, see:👉Enable and Apply Automatic Template Matching

 

📌Headsup: When a template is created, it remains eligible for Matching as long as it has been used within the past 40 days. This is the default matching state for all templates. After 40 days of no activity on an eligible template, the matching state switches to Excluded. While the template remains in your account, it will not be used for matching: 👉Include or Exclude Templates From Template Matching

Alternatively, if you have previously sent an envelope using a preferred Template, you can locate that sent envelope from your Sent folder. From there, you can copy the envelope and use it for sending again, or save it as a new template for future use.

 

Regarding the Notifications issue, please review your Notification preferences and ensure that the settings for notification when the Envelope is Complete is turned on.👉 Manage Notification Preferences
